This is actually indictment to Tinubu leadership failure. He is the CInC. Insecurity in any part of the country is as a result of his incompetent, he has been in power for 2 years

This is one of the reasons for such a mass migration to other people's lands.

The stats are indeed worrisome, if they are accurate. It begs the question: why would so many Igbos feel the need to leave their homeland and settle in other regions? While there's certainly freedom of movement, the concerns are deeper.

Are their own regions becoming so inhospitable that they have no choice but to leave?

Is the ongoing issue with IPOB-related violence still plaguing the Southeast, making it unsafe or unstable for its people?

Is there a climate of hostility or distrust when it comes to doing business among Igbos themselves?

These are just a few of the troubling questions that arise.

The reasons for such a mass migration go beyond mere economic opportunity.

Something seems off when people are choosing to leave their ancestral lands in such large numbers.

May his soul rest in peace.

The govt needs to stop campaigning for 2027 and start taking care of their responsibilities. They were at maraba bridge campaigning with some expired actors like Zack orji

Tinubu should be blamed for all this.
He has simply left his responsibility to travel all over the world.

Did they also transfer and reregister in 2015?, I remember your Oba threatening to throw everyone who wouldn't vote for Yoruba prefer candidate(Buhari APC) into lagoon.

I can't imagine anyone leaving there business in the east just to come and vote in the west. You all can keep splashing the narratives that suits you though.

Very hardworking guy.
Always advertising online with the cheapest prices.
His "assassination" should be thoroughly investigated.
He was starting to dominate a reasonable share of the fish market in this country. I wouldn't be surprised if folks who felt he was running them out of the market are involved in this dastardlyact..
The police should spread their dragnet across the country, especially towards the South West. Folks over there see job/business/political competitions as a matter of life.and death..
Bros, that guy was not killed by kidnappers but the fellow fish marketers.
I make this allegations based on one of his video I watched on TikTok.
In the video,he said he's fish is very cheap, cheap to the point that his fellow fish merchant are not happy with him.
We are talking about igbo business men here.

They kidnapped him and assassinates him to look like kidnappers did it.

Easterners could as well travel to east so as to vote and that will make them have more numbers of voted from the SE.

Must Lagos election be the only election to win? You just have to use your head a times, we have election in 36 states including the FCT but you people suddenly feel Lagos state is the only place where election matters. If igbos produce 100,000 votes in SE while they produce 500,000 votes in Lagos, what stop them from all going back to the SE so that they can simply produce 600,000 votes?

This is quite a political killing and the mother failed woefully as apga women leader , such a position comes with envy and jealousy especially this election period coming in November the woman should have known better and provide adequate security for the son , those people are not kidnapper's they didn't collect any Ransome rather they killed her son and drop a note for her

what has campaign got to do with insecurity in the country? When Nollywood were acting illicit movies corrupting the society with immoral acts like kidnapping, thuggery, money rituals, prostitution, and all sort of illegalities in the society what do you expect the children not to copy? Now they are playing all the acts they once watched.

Nairalanders supporting IPOB/ESN criminals won't stop their support because of this, they didn't stop the support for them when they murdered husband of late Dora Akuyili in broad daylight in a convoy of VIP.
What is the source of income of IPOB/ESN criminal gangs if not crimes? Commonly sense thing

If politicians, traditional rulers, businessmen, billionaires, scholars, security agents, etc were not safe from IPOB/ESN criminal gangs, what made you think this man couldn't be their victim too? Could he alone meet the fish demands in his local government alone that people would be targeting him? If he was indeed running people out of the business, he wouldn't need to be advertising to people in far away locations. He was no threat to anybody, let's stop hyping

Igbos migrate normally. This is not about mass migration. Your points are totally wrong. Even before independence igbos where everywhere. Which one be insecurity and ipob. Is it only the east that has a security problem? Even if so, why didn't the north migrate despite their crisis? Its because alot of them are broke so the igbos with their financial convince will do what they like because they have the money to do so. Get your facts right

Your people are the ones sponsoring hooligans and violent urchins in the south-east,. You tactfully recruit them to go around killing, maiming, destroying things for fun just to blame IPOB and ESN. The ultimate aim is to discredit the Biafran agitations in the east, by tying the movement to lawlessness and brigandage. You guys supervised the jailbreaks these recent years in the east that have emptied the prisons of all their human quantities. All those criminals are the ones kidnapping and committing murder just to tarnish the image of a region.
It's now Yoruba/Southwest that sponsoring crime in the easthuh? Not Fulani again?
Don't worry, na so northerners no Dey listen when boko haram first started
