Hi guys, I wanted to get you all experiences and thoughts on the bmw 328i 2014/higher. I heard it is reliable, fast and has a sporty look which attracts me to it more but I dont want stress and constant repairs

If you have a Toyota owner's mind set who believes that a stabiliser link should be sold for 3k and not more. Pls abort mission

Sleeping at the mechanics workshop or visiting the mechanic every month kind of thing.

I'm definitely gonna step on it so that's why I want to know how it's going to be like

You plan to drive it aggressively, I'd say to abort mission, i never advise anyone to go for Turbocharged engines, especially if old, this vehicle you speak of was made in 2014, the turbo must have been through a lot, replacement won't be cheap, neither will maintenance of the vehicle.
I do not think many owners of used turbocharged vehicles dumped in Nigeria are happy, or even drive them like race cars if these owners want some miles or peace, naturally aspirated engines can take this drive style, even better if it's a 6 cylinder engine and up, you'll be acquainted with more than a mechanic should you buy this vehicle ☹️, not the worst, pros involve learning a few things as you watch them repair or make attempts to repair 😊.
Lastly, this car and the N20 engine type in all the 3's of that generation are known to have timing chain problems, we know how it goes with vehicles known to have timing chain/guides issues, bad maintenance and lots of miles increase your chances of having a catastrophic engine failure, It will be a "good" find if this 2014 you plan to buy has less than 100k miles 😔, you get the picture? the first thing Google tells you about this car.

i joined BMW geng in "2015" i do jus 3 SERIES only.
i visit the MECHANIC placee every end of the MONTH, not because of any issues but jus maintenance , some time he drives me away from his workshop tha i pamper the car too MUCH.
BMW is not a car u use COOPERATIVE or THRIFT (ajo) to buy!
its an elegance MACHINE and not an UNDERSTANDING GIRLFRIEND.. apart from wear and tears part, i have never done any major work on it or ELECTRICAL thing.. jus few crashes at early 2015 and 17 due to handling the MACHINE.

reason i have a LEXUS today which is HYBRID is because of the CITY i STAY, POPO eyes are on BMW owner for DVG PUSHA

Edit: I think I get the issue now with the turbocharged stuff, it's like buying a c300 2015 and using aggressively. Okay, so what about the inline 6 engine of the 340i/335i engine...I just usually speed nothing more than that actually

The first German car that I drove was the bmw e90. It was the car of a friend back then in Oau ife. The moment that car began to move, I knew that, there was something about this brand that a Japanese car will never give me.

My journey as a car enthusiast started that day. 🚗🫡
I don’t have a car of my own yet, but, I must have a BMW in my garage.

If you like to “step on it”, bmw is the car for you. There is a reason they call it the drivers car. If you are new to it, I will advice you to stay away from the turbos and stick to the NA engines. Bless up!

Or, if he can sacrifice a bit of refinement or grace, he can try the infinity. A 2008 g35 has over 300hp.
