If only you knew not to come near these people

this is the saddest post I have read on nairaland today

You want them to allow a dangerous animal roam through their streets without doing nothing…
So the hippo life is more meaningful than human life,same animals that won’t think twice before doing you harm if you stray into their habitat…

these animals lived in those areas long before human beings knew about the place. Is it because the animals cannot speak to defend themselves?

a lot of the places we live today in our big cities were once home to these creatures before we invaded and destroyed their lives.

Posting on nairaland is to create widespread awareness about our environmental priorities until enough of us appreciate the issues well enough to form a critical mass to drive sustainable solutions such as the marine ecosystem reserve.

Trust me, your post did not change a thing. The next hippo will be eaten up.
It will be much more useful if you create the marine ecosystem reserve yourself than posting to tell others to do it.
I am just trying to encourage you, if you really love the hippos, do something about it don't just post. For me, I am looking forward to adding hippo meat to my count.

Obviously you didn't read that flooding pushed the hippos into human habitation.

There are only FOUR species of wildlife in Nigeria, and their classifications are all based in the degree of difficulty in killing them to eat.

1. Big meat.
2. Small meat.
3. Meat when sabi fight.
4. Meat when sabi run.

When ever last rat, lizard, cockroach and cattle egret have been killed and gobbled by hungry Nigerians, cannibalism will be the next logical step.
