When was the last time you heard of a school abduction? Or a bombing of the Abuja-Kaduna railway or any other railroad in Nigeria? Have you seen the people of Southern Kaduna complaining? What about jailbreaks by terrorists freeing their colleagues?

All of these are things of the past.

Even in the Southeast, Monday sit-at-homes are gradually becoming a thing of the past, as over one hundred police stations shut down during the Buhari era have now been reopened.

The Niger Delta is no longer restive. Oil theft has been reduced to 2% or less. For the first time in almost thirty years, peace, progress, and prosperity are returning to Ogoniland as the Tinubu administration is building a new polytechnic in Ogoni while the cleanup is in progress.

The result is that our daily crude oil production is up from 1 million barrels per day to 1.7 million barrels per day, and for the first time in over a decade, Nigeria has met and then exceeded its OPEC quota.

No longer is the Presidential Guards Brigade being attacked by terrorists, and the Nigerian Defence Academy has not been violated as occurred under the last administration.

Additionally, under the Tinubu administration, more than fourteen notoriously murderous bandit leaders have been killed, including the following:

Yes, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso complained about the state of the Abuja-Kano road, and that is being looked into. What Alhaji Kwankwaso did not say is that the road is unsafe, because it is not. It is secure.

This was not the case before. The Abuja-Kano road was once the national headquarters for roadside kidnapping. But the road is now tamed under the watchful eye of Malam Nuhu Ribadu as NSA. Any kidnapper who attempts anything on that route will meet their Maker the same day.

Because Nigeria is more secure, our economy is more assured. Our economy has been rebased, and our GDP has grown by $67 billion in just two years of President Tinubu, moving from ₦269.29 trillion to ₦372.8 trillion.

This is largely because loopholes in our economy, like that occasioned by Binance, which, according to the CBN, was responsible for $20 billion leaving our economy annually, have been professionally plugged.

The result is that the International Monetary Fund has upgraded Nigeria's economic growth forecast from 3.0% to 3.4% today, Tuesday, July 29, 2025. This administration has reduced Nigeria's debt from the $113.7 billion President Tinubu inherited from General Buhari to $97.1 billion today.

Fellow Nigerian citizens, if we can focus on just the facts and leave out emotions, we will see that the last two years have been a period of tremendous economic and social progress with Nigeria going from the largest importer of petroleum products in Africa in 2023 to being the biggest exporter of all petroleum products in West Africa, including PMS, AGO, aviation fuel and kerosine.

And by the time the tax reform bill kicks in next year, the Tinubu administration's economic and social reforms will unleash an unprecedented wave of progress from Kaura Namoda to Aguda.

And for this, we have President Tinubu to thank.
