Whenever you point out the lopsided nature of Tinubu's appointments, particularly in favor of Yoruba tribe (whether from the SW or North - Kogi and Kwara), they deflect by citing Buhari's precedent. Garba Joseph Anebi (2014 to 2019 — Appointed by GEJ and reappointed by Late President Muhammadu Buhari) Benue State, NORTH-CENTRAL ▪︎ Liman Alhaji Ibrahim (2019 to 2022 — Appointed by Late President Muhammadu Buhari) Niger State, NORTH-CENTRAL ▪︎ Engr. Jaji Olola Abdulganiyu (2022 to 2025 — Appointed by Late President Muhammadu Buhari) Kwara State, NORTH-CENTRAL ▪︎ Olumode Samuel Adeyemi (Effective From August 2025) Kogi State, NORTH-CENTRAL Apparently, this particular position has always been domiciled in the North, particularly the North-Central even before the Late fPMB assumed office in 2015, a pattern which he maintained until he left office in 2023. Did you ever criticise Late fPMB for maintaining this pattern? Let's also not omit the fact that appointments like this are not political but based on qualification and the newly appointed CG by President @officialABAT was before his appointment, a Deputy Controller-General, which makes him qualified for the role upon the retirement of the current CG in August. Are Agbadorians back to putting words into people's mouth? Is this how they plan to win his re-election. No-one has accused Tinubu of not giving appointments to the North or South, they've only accused him of tribalism and it's clear to see. The Northcentral stretches across 6 distinct states with diverse tribes but Tinubu's Northcentral appointments only go to the Yoruba-speaking parts of Kogi and Kwara. That's tribalism. 8 Likes |

AMINDA:Since you know they are part of Kogi and Kwara, why were they neglected in federal appointments in the past?. Are they only useful for votes and to add to the population of the north inorder to get more federal allocations and resources? By the way, this is the same Yakassai that was insinuating that the reduction in the prices of foods was a way Tinubu is using to destroy the economy of the north. He rather food inflation continues to grow and food out of reach of common man just because of the greed his type are benefitting from the arbitrary increase in the prices of foods despite several Goverment interventions. I really like the conversation that this appointment and that of NNPC man is bringing up. To the "northern Nigeria", we in Kogi and Kwara are not northerner, despite the North Central status. This appointment is clearly regarded as another one of Tinubu's nepotistic appointments not forgetting that they often brag about 19 northern states whenever they need numbers, but when appointment comes, they refer us back to Yoruba status. We ain't only good for northern voting, we are also good for appointment. If you guys are not okay with that, them advocate for us to be merge with our kiths and kins in the Southwest, period! 3 Likes |
