How are you able to demand accountability and question obi (a private citizen) about how he choses to spend his N540m but you are unable to demand accountability from tinubu and question him on how he spends the wealth of Nigeria on a daily basis which runs into billions of dollars?

Do you demand accountability from a private citizen or do you demand accountability from public officials like tinubu?

This goes against the constitution, the next government should recover all allowances and salaries collected during this “ extensions “ from them and demote them to the next level for agreeing to be part of such unconstitutional extension. And also probe every approval given during their illegal tenure.

Next time , others go carry their bag run when dem reach retirement age.

This is very very bad. It will demoralize his deputies and kill their morale whom one of them supposed to take over from him. It may be all the deputy comptroller generals are not from the south

Absolute rubbish. Again, this is bad for the system. It kills moral and leads to unfair stagnation of staff. Every appointed public servant should leave at the age of 60 so that others can move up. If those ahead of Adewale did not retire, how would he have gotten to the position of CGC? Now that he’s there, he has become a sit tight officer and denying others the opportunity to advance their career. This is totally unacceptable.

The public service has rules in place to discourage perpetuation or extension. The act of arbitrarily extending tenures that have or are due to statutorily end is very bad.
