Paper economics again.

Let it just reflect on the lives of the average Nigerian.

At least in canada and USA, survival jobs can feed u for a month even if you can't save, but here survival jobs can't even feed u for a week.
In phc, Some earn 840k per year while rent alone is 200k for one room and 340-500k for selfcon. How many wan use survive?
If survival jobs can't feed for a week so how are working Nigerians surviving ?

Even during the time of Jonathan when the GDP was the biggest in Africa and Petrol was around 150 and a bag of rice was 8000 how many Nigerians could save money? Was Nigeria not still one of the poorest in the world?

You want Tinubu to fix Nigerian poverty in two years that's unrealistic, go to new site around you thousands of Nigerians are building houses every day, you think people that can't save can build houses? , pray for good luck and work hard. If a dollar became 100naira today and a bag of rice became 10,000 million of Nigerian still won't be able to afford it.

Yea Every Nigerian wants the country to progress, but what you're celebrating as good news is merely a forecast of what IMF expect to happen in the future.

This is not the first time they have made similar projections and most of them didn't see the light of day.

So, let it happen first before you celebrate it as good news. A forecast about the future isn't reality.

You dey mind them. This statement is even from AI IMF not the real IMF.

It's only positive news about Nigeria you guys always question, but if it's negative news, that one's don't need any further verification
After putting the country in abject poverty, they will now sweet talk you. You are happy. Nonsense everywhere

You're either disconnected from reality or living in denial.

Average Nigerians have been living from hand to mouth due to hyperinflation caused by this regime's policies, yet, you're asking how they're surviving?

And look at the other nonsense you typed. "thousands are building houses"

You're comparing thousands to millions of Nigerians everywhere who are now finding it difficult to provide decent accommodation for themselves are their families?

Until cost of living comes down, standard of living is raised a bit higher and we start experiencing an influx of foreign investors rushing to invest in this massively growing economy 😔 that will outpace the the UK economy. Until then I will take this news with a pinch of salt. Even Tinubu himself ask us say " na statistics we go chop".

IMF? A force making sure Africa remains slums and its people paupers, their modus operandi never changes, give loans to leaders of corrupt countries, knowing fully well the loans will be looted and monies will find ways back to the first world, when these leaders cannot pay and country is deep in debt, they then advise significant currency devaluation, devaluation that further keeps a larger population of the people in poverty, a devaluation that is miles from the actual true value of the currency.

Outpace the whole world, not only the UK.
Nigerians are literally starving to death in Nigeria.
Perhaps that's what the IMF wants.

These people need to stop feeding everybody vanity metrics that don't show any improvement in the life of average person.

1. You must have been born yesterday to not know that Nigeria's projected GDP growth was times two of this before APC came with fake change and destroyed everything.

2. A projected GDP growth of 3.4% for a country grappling economic issues, unemployment, insecurity is hardly any growth at all. Even if your GDP growth is higher than UAE's, it doesn't mean anything because they are way ahead of you and are you playing catch up while moving like a tortoise. Meaning you will never catch up with such slow growth. It is because of "simple" people that failures like APC still have supporters. We can't be deceived with useless metrics. Come back when there is exponential GDP growth.

See a typical APC supporter here. I spoke about the average Nigerian but he's speaking about himself alone, exactly the way APC politicians also talk. This is why such people can't like Peter Obi who speaks about improving the lives of the average Nigerian. So because you're doing well, APC is now the best thing in the world after toast bread and others should go and swallow air for lunch abi? 2027 will soon be here na.
That time it was times 2 before apc, u wanted that government to continue right? So if it was good then it is still good now!!!

You're not very intelligent. Compare the UK's and Nigeria's economy, then tell me what 3.4 percent growth of Nigeria's economy is to just 1 percent of UK's. I'll help you.

Nigeria's GDP is around 400 billion USD.
UK's GDP is 3.4 trillion USD.

Nigeria's 3.4 percent growth is 13.6 billion USD.
Just 1 percent UK's growth is 34 billion USD.

Nigeria's population is 200m+
Uk population is less than 80m.

Stop this rubbish.

Me, I am still saying it till tomorrow: any economic plan that doesn't impact positively on a country and its citizens, it's a failed plan! There are no two ways about it.

Of what good is your economic plan when your citizens are getting poorer and living standards are getting tougher?
You are right, but there's no country that was developed in two years. Tinubu's policies are positioning Nigeria for growth. Only enemies of Nigeria will reverse what he did in the name of appearing to be populism is not how to develop a country. Countries are developed through hard work and unity of purpose.

The UK is a country which is in sharp decline. With a good President ruling Nigeria, there will be an Uno reverse within the next 10 years. People will be Japaing from the UK to Nigeria. This includes Europeans. Germany and France are also gradually becoming bankrupt.
