The tariff is for Nigerian goods going into the US. How will that make us sink into poverty? Is it Nigerians will have to pay more for US goods? ...or Americans have to pay more for Nigerian goods? Donald Trump is too stupid to know that the it is the citizens of the country that buys imported goods that pay whatever tarriffs are imposed. So American citizens will be paying more for imported items from Nigeria.

In all this, the winner is China as more countries will seek to improve relations with them. The world cannot keep tolerating American bullying for long.

The tarrif is on goods coming into America, why can't China lower their tarrifs so other countries would have their goods flooding into China why should they think of s only ending to other countries.

You obviously understand nothing about tariffs. Tariffs are paid by the consumer/importers in the country exercising tariffs. The exporters do not pay tariffs at source. Hence the aim is to make foreign goods less competitive. However this has its advantages and disadvantages depending on the self sufficiency level of the country imposing tariffs. Economics 101 Please
