You guys are not against him, he is the one after you. We all know his modus operandi. He will do everything to make you all bow in total submission or sell your filling stations to his preferred operator. |

It is very wrong for dangote to produce the product and at the same time sell to end users. The game is that independent marketers are supposed to load directly from dangote refinery to their various stations instead of dangote delivery it directly. If dangote is allowed to own refinery and at the same time operate filling station. It will kill other people business. |

Do you own your business and let Dangote do his own. Why does he need to invite you for any conversation? What is the purpose of such a discussion? To fix prices? Price fixing is illegal in any true economic environment. |

For years, you lot created scarcity whenever you wanted more. Flexed your muscles as if the world revolves around you. Milked the public whilst inflicting considerable pain. Getat. |

GboyegaD:That is the game,he wants to own everything. You can be the producer and also the retailer. |

On point, way to go, we need more refineries to provide job for our people , we cant keep using our massive population and fuel consumption to provide job for people elsewhere |

surgical:It is none, it is for his selfish gains because we do not checkmate monopolistic tendencies in Nigeria. |
| Re: We Are Not Against Dangote Refinery - Oil Marketers by kedeojo(m): 2:37pm On Aug 01, 2025 |
1mansolder:When the marketers are exploting Nigerians then Dangote is welcome to deliver directly to the Petro station owners. Let them come together and build a refinery. They were killing the country with their greed and didn't pity the masses but want to be crying when Dangote is solving what they ought to do before. Let them look at other sector to invest their I'll gotten wealth if the oil sector is out of their reach. |

1mansolder:So that middlemen can hoard it. Why dont they come together form a conglomerate and build thier own refinery. U think they care about the man on the street |

Bloody liars. You say one thing and mean the opposite. |
| Re: We Are Not Against Dangote Refinery - Oil Marketers by kedeojo(m): 2:42pm On Aug 01, 2025 |
1mansolder:you can produce and retail same times. Nnpc retail outlet owned by federal government are all over the country but not enough to cater for Nigeria, is what birthed private owners who are mostly greedy. Government failed to have working refineries and enough outlets. Oando is a major oil company with retail outlet. The only problem they have was refining abroad over the years.and they may even own a refinery over there. |

1mansolder:At the end of the day, the only way you can guarantee lower prices for consumers is by cutting out the middle man. AliExpress, Costco, Bokku, etc are able to offer lower prices by doing so. Mind you, some players are already working to build their own refinery. So competition will always be there. Dangote has a head start but others will definitely catch up. |
| Re: We Are Not Against Dangote Refinery - Oil Marketers by kedeojo(m): 2:47pm On Aug 01, 2025 |
GboyegaD:You people keep making noise over 25 Nigerians were given refinery licences since Obasanjo time but none could muster the courage to build one because they were making a lot of money through subsidy. Arthur Eze and co couldn't build a refinery but prefer to build hotel at Enugu airport. They cheated the country for so long but God has intervened. |

Monopoly is what no one should allow Dangote to have. This man controls cement industry. Tell him to drop the price from ₦10,500 to ₦5000 |
| Re: We Are Not Against Dangote Refinery - Oil Marketers by davodyguy: 2:51pm On Aug 01, 2025 |
GboyegaD:God bless you. They should tell him to bring Cement price down Dangote is monopolistic and major marketers know this How come Total, MRS, OandO, Mobil etc survived each other for more than 3 decades of competing against each other? That's what Dangote wants to kill |
| Re: We Are Not Against Dangote Refinery - Oil Marketers by GboyegaD(m): 2:54pm On Aug 01, 2025 |
kedeojo:Nonetheless, he shouldn't be allowed to kill competition because others did not build a refinery. |
| Re: We Are Not Against Dangote Refinery - Oil Marketers by ArcFresky(m): 2:54pm On Aug 01, 2025 |
1mansolder:You realise he was producing and they were not loading it? There was even a social media campaign to tarnish his product, that it was not good, and that he could not supply the whole Nigeria. Remember, the press briefings, that somebody had to use ipass my neighbour to do it? They preferred to import. Please let the man continue |

Racoon:Very useless and greedy lots. These are true enemies of Nigeria. The very fuel subsidy cabal in flesh and blood. They built their Joy on others sorrow. Eating large at the expense of the nation's treasury. They kept round tripping products. They kept inflating figures They kept quoting ambigious figures that was never in existence They lied that they imported fuel and made claims for the same but never did in reality. These were the guys that bled our treasury in conniviance with certain in-house interest within the NNPC & DPR. Most of them used the same money they made from swindling the nation to build tank FARMS where they store their imported products. Just because they have LARGE TANK FARMS in place already, they felt short-changed, they felt they were loosing out. Hence they are fighting DANGOTE REFINERY. All for their selfish interests. Nothing more. No be juju be that. To hell with you lots. |
