ADC set powerful example by appointing youths into NWC – Atiku

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Friday commended the African Democratic Congress, ADC, for appointing youths into its National Working Committee, NWC.

Atiku said the ADC has set a powerful example by including the youths in its decision making process.

ADC had appointed Bilyaminu Duhu as Assistant National Youth Leader, North East, Jackie Wayas, Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Hassana Dada, Assistant National Youth Leader, North Central, David Itokpa, Deputy National Welfare Secretary and Hauwa Yusuf, Deputy National Secretary.

Reacting to the development, the former presidential candidate said the future of Nigerian youths must not be shaped in their absence.

Posting on X, Atiku wrote: “Congratulations to the vibrant young members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC)—Bilyaminu Duhu (Assistant National Youth Leader, North East), Jackie Wayas, @JWEZEE, (Deputy National Publicity Secretary), Hassana Dada (Assistant National Youth Leader, North Central), David Itokpa @iamhistory_, (Deputy National Welfare Secretary), Hauwa Yusuf, @itz_hawee (Deputy National Secretary) and others, on their well deserved appointments to the party’s National Working Committee.

“The @ADCNig is no longer just speaking about youth inclusion; it is now boldly demonstrating it in action.
Indeed, the future of our youth must not be shaped in their absence, and I commend the ADC for setting a powerful example by giving them a seat at the table where decisions are made.

“This is what true leadership looks like, not just talking the talk, but walking it with purpose.”

Don't worry bro, the jungle will soon mature. Weeds would be separated from shafts when real politicking begins. It's going to be a straight fight between APC (the oppressors) and ADC (haven of the masses). Just watch out.

It's evident Atiku is more commited to the course of ADC among the possible flagbearrers. His time has come and I think the party is the best vehicle to finally realize his presidential ambition having left the carcass of PDP for Wike, Makinde and co.
He would clinch the presidency in 2027 with ease.

Obi will largely hurt Tinubu this time around. He would deplete Tinubu's votes in the South but Atiku is poised to gain more from the North due to aparthy towards Tinubu's performance and nepotism. Give or take, Atiku will marginally edge out both Obi and Tinubu through popular votes and 25% national spread.

Take a look at the 2023 presidential election results in the South and draw your conclusion. The only area he's likely to have poor outing is South East where expectedly, Obi will hold sway.

Great work Atiku, now step aside and let those youngsters go for the legislative offices. Not all this Deputy this deputy that where they are a minority in committeed and don't really have a say.
