Look elsewhere in Europe. Serie A clubs now struggle to sign players for more than €50 million. La Liga? Real Madrid, one of the richest clubs in history, is targeting free agents, while Barcelona signed Marcus Rashford on loan in 2025. This is the reality. Outside the Premier League, the market is shrinking.

Meanwhile, the Premier League continues to dominate financially and globally, thanks in large part to the aggressive vision clubs like Chelsea brought early on. Without that early disruption, the Premier League might still be stuck in the past, just another national league instead of a global phenomenon.

Instead of fans of Manchester United, Arsenal, and Liverpool saying “thank you” to Chelsea for revolutionizing the Premier League, not once, but twice, they continue to hate. Alongside pundits like Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville, who seem more emotional than analytical when it comes to Chelsea, they dismiss what the club has done, all while benefiting from the very system Chelsea helped build.

Chelsea helped build the modern Premier League. And under Boehly, they might just be saving its future.
So you mean before abramovich no club in the EPL has been n importing foreign national ..

Agbonlahor dey cap.

That he had few good games against Vidic doesn’t make Vidic average. The Serbian was a tough thug to face. I can’t even imagine myself comparing VVD or Ferdinand with Vidic.

First, Congratulations to Chelsea and Palmer but why am I getting all these mentions? I've argued that your players are better than you give them credit for, and that Palmer has to win things by deciding them for your team before getting all the plaudits he didn't deserve.

Now that he has passed phase 1, will you maintain your argument or concede that you were making excuses for him?

Incase the poser is lost, let's recycle the discussion so we can know where things currently stand:

1. If your team is good enough to beat PSG in a final, you're good enough to win the EPL. True or False?
2. Sanchez, Neto, Enzo, Gusto etc aren't the frauds you guys claimed they were - so you won't turn around to blame them when Palmer doesn't live up to the hype. True or False?
3. Maresca is a genius. The best manager ever. So you won't also blame him if your season torpedoes and he is summarily fired. Remember, this is the same way you guys hyped Tuchel after '21 but then switched up to excuse him when he didn't win the EPL in '22.
4. Palmer is world best. Again, shouldn't you expect the world best to will his team to win the EPL? Therefore, if your team doesn't win the EPL, you wouldn't have any excuses - no?

What are the terms? Let's have it in writing.
All these shalaye no too much for "congratulations to Chelsea"so??

No dribbling has been banned and the emboldened just like most football talks depend on context. I mean you can tackle and not get a yellow card, you can equally tackle and get a yellow card. So it depends.

On the rain now flick, if you perform such stunt at 0:0 in a game, no referee is giving you a yellow card for that. You'll only have issues with your manager example someone like Pep.

However, if you do that when your team is winning 4 or 5 nil, it'll be deemed as unsportsmanship behaviour and the referee may decide to show you a yellow. If you were already on a yellow, I doubt the referee will send you off for that.

If you can dribble and create goals like Hazard, Dinho, Vini, Yamal, you have no issues. But if your dribbling is like them Bolasie, Doku, Taarabt, Lualua, Maximim and co then you're in for a long thing.
i dont know who all this your explanation is for.
Were some dribbles ban yes or no. Simple yes
Did neymar get carded for doing a rainbow flick, yes, in that game i dont even think he did it over the player.

Guy if you quote me and shalaye without knowledge i will block you

Sir Alex Ferguson and his circle didn’t necessarily make the Premier League appealing to foreign players at the time. One key reason they often opposed Chelsea was because top foreign talents felt more welcomed and settled there.

There are several examples that highlight this:
Carlos Tevez was poorly treated by Ferguson, seemingly to protect Wayne Rooney, despite the fact that Tevez was arguably performing at a similar or even higher level.
Di María felt unwanted from the moment he arrived at Manchester United and made a quick exit to PSG after just one season.
Eric Bailly openly shared in an interview that foreign players had to work twice as hard in training compared to local players, yet were still regularly overlooked when it came to starting matches.

The politics Ferguson played back then arguably laid the groundwork for many of the internal issues Manchester United still faces today. Maybe you were too young at the time to fully understand it all, no hate, just stating facts.

So it was just man u and Ferguson making players unwelcomed .. how did it translate to EPL as a whole ..

Clubs with the like of Bolton , Portsmouth and the likes has be shipping foreign players to the EPL before a abramovich even thought of buying Chelsea .. so if man u was the problem, you should have just specify.. wetin concern Liverpool concern all this one..

Salahs dribble is closer to Messi. Because they only dribble with the intention of going for a goal. That body feints is exactly 90% of Messi dribbles. You hardly see them dribble and stop

That is for players like Hazard Okocha Grealish Maximin. They can dribble then stop for the defender to get back in space so they can dribble them again

At the time, from a league marketing perspective, Manchester United were expected to be the face of the Premier League, similar to how Real Madrid represent La Liga, because of their global recognition. On the international stage, Real Madrid have long been the driving force behind La Liga’s global presence, thanks to their Galáctico branding over the years.

Barcelona, much like Manchester United, operate as traditional, football-conservative clubs. The other clubs you mentioned don’t possess that same level of influence or potential, which is why I didn’t include them in the comparison.

Also, understand that top foreign talent signing for a big club generates a completely different level of buzz and attention compared to a club like Bolton signing average players.

This Brazil vs Colombia women's final is crazy.
That was one crazy game of football.

I thought Mayra Ramirez had won it with her late goal in normal time, only for Marta to level it up deep in stoppage time, and then put them ahead in extra time, with Colombia forcing another late equalizer in extra time to make it 4-4
Marta should have won it with Brazil's 5th spot kick but missed, which took it to sudden death, until Colombia missed their decisive kick to hand Brazil the win.

That's their 9th Copa America Femenina title
