raumdeuter:Nope .. Hazard drops into the category of Messi , Salah type dribbling which Is not dribbling per say just maneuvers and body feint movement .. The real dribblers are the maximim Neymar, coutinho, doku and so on .. |

popizaino:Agbonlahor dey cap. That he had few good games against Vidic doesn’t make Vidic average. The Serbian was a tough thug to face. I can’t even imagine myself comparing VVD or Ferdinand with Vidic. |

Ryan Kavuma-McQueen, if this kid is in broke barca and has xavi for a manager he is definitely making first team squad this season |

popizaino:Vidic lacked pace so any fast player like Agbonlahor, Torres would find him easy food |

Silentgroper:Sir Alex Ferguson and his circle didn’t necessarily make the Premier League appealing to foreign players at the time. One key reason they often opposed Chelsea was because top foreign talents felt more welcomed and settled there. There are several examples that highlight this: Carlos Tevez was poorly treated by Ferguson, seemingly to protect Wayne Rooney, despite the fact that Tevez was arguably performing at a similar or even higher level. Di María felt unwanted from the moment he arrived at Manchester United and made a quick exit to PSG after just one season. Eric Bailly openly shared in an interview that foreign players had to work twice as hard in training compared to local players, yet were still regularly overlooked when it came to starting matches. The politics Ferguson played back then arguably laid the groundwork for many of the internal issues Manchester United still faces today. Maybe you were too young at the time to fully understand it all, no hate, just stating facts. |

hensben:So it was just man u and Ferguson making players unwelcomed .. how did it translate to EPL as a whole .. Clubs with the like of Bolton , Portsmouth and the likes has be shipping foreign players to the EPL before a abramovich even thought of buying Chelsea .. so if man u was the problem, you should have just specify.. wetin concern Liverpool concern all this one.. |

Silentgroper:Salahs dribble is closer to Messi. Because they only dribble with the intention of going for a goal. That body feints is exactly 90% of Messi dribbles. You hardly see them dribble and stop That is for players like Hazard Okocha Grealish Maximin. They can dribble then stop for the defender to get back in space so they can dribble them again |

popizaino:Vidic was the one carrying Ferdinand. Because he doesnt have the English media to push his agenda after retirement |

| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by hensben(m): 7:33am On Aug 03, 2025 |
Silentgroper:At the time, from a league marketing perspective, Manchester United were expected to be the face of the Premier League, similar to how Real Madrid represent La Liga, because of their global recognition. On the international stage, Real Madrid have long been the driving force behind La Liga’s global presence, thanks to their Galáctico branding over the years. Barcelona, much like Manchester United, operate as traditional, football-conservative clubs. The other clubs you mentioned don’t possess that same level of influence or potential, which is why I didn’t include them in the comparison. |

Silentgroper:Also, understand that top foreign talent signing for a big club generates a completely different level of buzz and attention compared to a club like Bolton signing average players. |

airmark:That was one crazy game of football. I thought Mayra Ramirez had won it with her late goal in normal time, only for Marta to level it up deep in stoppage time, and then put them ahead in extra time, with Colombia forcing another late equalizer in extra time to make it 4-4 Marta should have won it with Brazil's 5th spot kick but missed, which took it to sudden death, until Colombia missed their decisive kick to hand Brazil the win. That's their 9th Copa America Femenina title |
