I said it,most of you are local champions,that hardly know anything about Nigeria,Igbos have been living and doing big time businesses in the North for donkey years,from Kano to Plateau,from Yola to kaduna,the story is the same,same as northerners in Aba,Akwa,Onitsha,Enugu,Okigwe,Abakiliki, Asaba etc.Every northerner works hard to survive,they have touts and miscreants like every other tribe but they dont celebrate touting and agberoism,which is now a thing of pride in south west,they identify with their individual states,unlike people from a particular region,where everybody comes from Lagos....hoping for crumbs from politicians.

Irrespective of the ethnicity, people will go where they can make impact and money. People are still going to the north to set-up businesses.

And to enlighten you, this is even the best time some businesses would thrive in the north. Insecurity provides opportunity for some people to make more money. You just have to be ready go through with the challenges.

Some people are making millions of dollars due to the Israel-Palestine war. Same as Russia and Ukraine. Residents and citizens will flee but that's an avenue for some people to make money. It's all about choice.

Dem go change street name tire until we leave Lagos for them and it turns back to desert it was before, go back and remember 1993 during abiola time not even all Igbo went back to their home state, Lagos was empty, I wAs in Lagos back then, u people are making money from rent and businesses of Igbo people , who will u rent ur houses to if they leave? I just dey look una dey laff, when we start investing in the north and leave south east, una eye go clear

I completely agree with you. The best paying NGOs are in the north; thanks to insecurity.
I applied for one that pays in USD and still waiting for the outcome of my application. They will probably get back to us this week. I no mind moving to the north; at least it will help me learn Hausa ahead of my political ambition 😀😀

Well the North has gone the route of Igbophobia and their economy has completely collapsed. They act as though they learnt their lessons but trust once broken can never be repaired. Most Igbo businesses in the north are now small scale. Igbos are learning that home investment is the most secure.

It's the west that is taking over the mantle of Igbophobia from them and, Lagos will pay for it.
