Its already happening. There certain fabrics that can only be found in Aba as at today. People from Lagos come to Aba to buy and go to resale in Lagos.
My cousin is into fabric importayion in Aba so I saw it first hand the last time I travelled.

It's not everything you can find in Lagos. Even Japan imports rubber to manufacture goods.

Right from the early 90s, Aba has always been the hub for small leather goods, bedsheets and certain other fabric wears.

But you see that Lagos, you must leave. MUST.

production is a good idea..but producing inferior goods in large quantities is never one. Its a no no for me.

Nobody who values his capital will take him serious. Once beaten; twice shy. Igbos divested from the north from 2010 and if you think that any Igbo will return his investment in such an environment and after decades of religious and ethnic tension, you should think again.

There's still ethnic tension in the North—directly and indirectly through herdsmen and BH. No Igbo man should go there. Personally, I prefer everyone to stay in their region. The country is heavily divided.

I wrote the above about the rise of instability and sectarian tension in Lagos and how what destroyed the North now hunts Lagos. It's interesting how it's happening rapidly.

Irrespective of the ethnicity, people will go where they can make impact and money. People are still going to the north to set-up businesses.

And to enlighten you, this is even the best time some businesses would thrive in the north. Insecurity provides opportunity for some people to make more money. You just have to be ready go through with the challenges.

Some people are making millions of dollars due to the Israel-Palestine war. Same as Russia and Ukraine. Residents and citizens will flee but that's an avenue for some people to make money. It's all about choice.

Not in northern Nigeria, you can buy agro commodities, then sell in South not to set up industries there

China started by producing inferior products, people were always quick to tag anything substandard as a China product but today China is a production hub sort after by the world economy. People pay money just to learn on how to import from China, same China that was producing inferior goods just few years ago o. Yes you can call it Igbo or Aba made but we know what country we are in. Instead of the government to encourage or support anything Igbo the government would rather have it rot away.

All of them know already that after the Caucasian race it is only igbos than bring progress and development to any place they go but when igbos bring progress and development to their communities same repetitive cycle of envy, jealousy and bitterness sets in and anti igbo progress they refer to as fear of Igbo domination sentiments sets in again, instead of thanks for improving IGRs of their host communities igbos get hate and which is the number one reason many Igbos agitate for Biafra, a country Igbos can turn around to a black Hong Kong paradise within 2 years so that Hausa and Yorubas will need a visa to come in and see how to run a country

Igbos talk about business more than any tribe in Nigeria and they make it seem as if they are the numero uno in business but facts and reality have shown that they are not as business oriented and successful as the Yorubas.
They have the sectors they dominate,Hausas have the sectors they dominate while Yorubas have the sectors they dominate.
Findings show that Yorubas dominate more sectors than the Igbos and have more companies,firms and SMEs than the Igbos.

I will personally open the north east as that's my origin. Nigerians from all zones are traveling like never before, ask your sincere kinsmen about manufacturing and commerce in Kano 🤷. I contacted a industrial machines manufacturer in china, I was referred to their distributor based in Kano whom was a Igbo man. Many Hausas too have contact too and can speak Cantonese fluently, the Chinese use them as interpreters and are many in northwest and north central states due to mining activities. No dey cap carelessly

Well the North has gone the route of Igbophobia and their economy has completely collapsed. They act as though they learnt their lessons but trust once broken can never be repaired. Most Igbo businesses in the north are now small scale. Igbos are learning that home investment is the most secure.

It's the west that is taking over the mantle of Igbophobia from them and, Lagos will pay for it.

Will Lagos really pay a big price for this Igbo-phobic tendencies but how . Will igbos boycott Lagos, will igbos divest from Lagos, will igbos replicate what Lagos offer elsewhere
