I have never met Peter Obi in person, I am not an Obidient by political party, although I believe in his political ideologies and he seems to me like a lesser devil from them all. There is something interesting about him that strikes the resemblance of a good man who will do well if given the platform to lead at the center. Without mincing words, I strongly believe that he has the capacity to bring Nigeria out of her economic and political quagmire. Another pointer to his good personality is that till date, not any of the anti graft agencies have invited Peter Obi for questioning over one misappropriation of private or public fund. To me, to every incorruptible soul that is incredible, to every sane and accountability lover that is comforting and gratifying. It became interesting to admire such a man because we live in a country where political office holders take pleasure and turns being fantastically corrupt, except we all want to be mad, when we see men like Obi, we must appreciate them. The very remnant who have not defiled themselves with the porridge of Esau. We must talk about them, praise them and constantly eulogize and institutionalize them and ensure they become a standard for the future we so desire. From all I have gathered, I can confidently say that Peter Obi is a good man who tries within his humanistic capacity to be perfect in an imperfect terrain. Gentle to the core, truthful to his words and passionate about what he believes. He has demonstrated a heart for humanity. Away from his sterling performance as former governor of Anambra state, he has performed creditably well as a business man. His type is rear in our political landscape at least today. A man who goes around donating material and cash gift to schools, hospitals, IDP camps and communities in distress is the true man Nigeria needs at this time. Most unfortunately, many have been blinded by ethnic hate and unwarranted propaganda against his person. Yet, we must not forget that Obi have exhibited the early signs of good leadership which is provision of tangible benefits to humanity not audio. Obi is demonstrating this leadership quality by the day. Again, it is sad that Nigeria run a system that prides in vilifying saints whilst canonizing demons. Given this systemic failure, Peter Obi has become a subject of relentless attacks. Even the worst WAEC result holders have found their voices and is now firing Obi from all cylinders. The attacks continues to trickle by the day, but like Jesus nothing has been found against him. Similarly, the online e-warriors, wolves and agents of evil machinations have been paid, activated and unleased with a mandate to destroy anything Obi. As a result, they are bent on destroying everything in sight, whipping up emotions, sentiments and causing tribal hate and wars. The hate is indeed satanic. These evil merchants are everywhere on X, Facebook, Newspapers, Radio, Television ecetera doing the ugly bidding of their evil masters. Masters who have held Nigerians down for decades and counting whilst impoverishing them and their unborn generations. What exactly is Obi's offence? His offence is that he is a force and a catalyst for the change many Nigerians are yearning for. Again, he challenged the status quo, who is he? where is he from? who is his father? how many drug and dirty deals has he done in his entire life? In this jungle we go by the scores of human heads we have killed and buried and cult we belong to. To make matter worst a man from the imaginary dot and conquered territory. Another reason for the heightened hate is that Obi built an unimaginable army of loyal followers who gave him six million votes in the last election to their greatest shock. Obi beat them hands down in their domains unchallenged. The greatest of it is that he is onye Igbo and an incorruptible individual who have refused to eat from the corrupt table of men who don't want to see Nigeria work. These are Obi offence. At this point, there is the need for a fight back. Peter Obi must rise to the necessity of defending himself from the destructive tendencies of those who take pleasure in brute politics. These wolves and political lions who have been paid and unleased on our national political space like the fallen angels. Dear Obi, politics is not for gentle people. You must go hard too. I opine that you set up a formidable media team who will challenge these wolves and deadly lions. Bayo Onanuga, Reno Omokri, Nyesom Wike, Solido, Daniel Bwala and the smaller online urchins scattered all over the media space deserve a fight back and must be given a run for their money. Truth is, the best time is now. Aisha Yesufu must be co-opted for this urgent image making and defensive assignment. Kenneth Okonkwo would have been another great asset, but I suspect that Obi's "I no dey give shishi" lifestyle is not sitting well with Okonkwo hence his Joe Igbokwe saboteur pattern of political game play. Nevertheless, there are enough willing hands to do this holy dirty job. Nigeria politics is a jungle kind of politics. It is the dog eat dog kind of game. It is savagery and propaganda oriented in nature. Anybody who must survive in it must be ready to play dirty. In my opinion, it is not in the interest of Peter Obi to play gentle with these guys. He must be reminded that the man in Abuja is intolerant of opposition, the records are there. He believes in anyhow politics. A man who can public declare to his supporters "grab it and run" means business. His lions are wide spread, his wolves are desperate and they are resolute, brutal, unrelenting and unforgiving. *Hon. Chris Omumu* A politician and public affairs analyst

He was Anambra state governor for good 8 years, what extra ordinary things did he do that still stand today? Remember, nothing like go and verify again as they came back to be either fake or exaggerated |

Na real Chris oMUMU! if obi had not managed a small state like anambra without his people raining curses on him, he would have fooled us. Propangandas can’t work in country like Nigeria, the evil that you do, will continue to live after you. |
