Why The Church Is No Longer Experiencing Miracles As Of Old by cutecommend(op): 8:28am On Apr 20, 2025

There are miracles today, but in the time of old, the miracles were profound, deep, convincing, real, raw and powerful. Even several sinners could not doubt it because it was real. But today, the miracle power is not as visible as before, though God is still the same. In the time of old, if Christians wanted someone without a leg to have legs appear, they could pray to God and God can bring new legs. An Apostle like Ayo Babalola could suspend on the air. He could disappear. And if you talk of genuine salvation, when people get saved those days, the salvation was so real that sinners could possibly see clearly that such a person is born again in character, lifestyle, dressing e.t.c.

Why the church no longer experience miracles as before.

(1) Lack of Emphasis on Rapture: The more the church lose interest in the world and is eager to leave this world and meet Jesus, the more Jesus brings His power to the world.

(2) Lack of Prayers: The church does not pray much as before, and several prayerful people are living in sin.

(3) Lack of Holiness: If the church does not live holy, the power of God will not be much or may not come.

(4) Lack of Bible Study and Sound Doctrine: Not sermons on vision, goals, purpose e.t.c, but gospel of righteousness, evangelism, prayers, love, fruits of the Spirit, Bible study e.t.c

(5) Lack of Deep Evangelism: If the church wants power, it should also engage in massive and deep evangelism with followup and discipleship.

It is a beautiful Sunday with another chance, tell Jesus to forgive all your sins and come into your life today.

All miracles reported were all reporting speeches and no evidence of occurrences than “oral tradition” where just talk and the hearers believed and started reporting the same stories.

Miracle of Calanda where an “amputee” said he had a restored leg had been rebutted. This and so many tricks those days can’t stand again because human beings are now bold to challenge anything they see or hear. Unlike in those days that you wouldn’t dare challenge any religious claim.
If The Lord Chosen Church were existing in those days, all these their funny testimonies of miracles would surely pass without anyone challenging them. Eyes don open now, “beebi ti seju”.

When I was very young, they made us to believe that at the call of Jesus, evil spirits scampers and all kneels shall bow. How come we heard that the long term interpreter for Pastor T.0 Obadare was a witch, was Obadare not calling the name of Jesus while the “witch” was interpreting for him?
Mount Zion Film ministry in their films showed how Christians were molesting “strong” traditionalist with the name of Jesus. I can beat my chest that that you could only see that in films. In a real challenge, any traditionalist will defeat the spiritually strongest Christian minister (call any name, Jesus, Gabriel, Michael). If they are spiritually powerful, why do they use body guards? or the spiritual doesn’t control physical again?

Babalola flew in the air was a miracle? 😂

Miracles and other signs were meant to end in the first century because as a new born baby Christianity replaced the Old Jewish system of worship that's why God empowered the Jewish disciples of Christ to perform miracles but by the time Christianity began to spread to other nations all such signs seized! 1Corinthans 13:8-11

Lies! Your churches never experienced miracles from their beginning. The same tricks used today are many of the same that were used when the Romans decided to set up the religion of Christianity. undecided

How do you know that the miracles were profound, deep, convincing, real, raw and powerful? Because they wrote it in a book?

Obviously there is no such being as a god capable of performing these so called miracles. If there was there be nothing stopping such a being from performing them now.

Christianity did not come from the nation of Israel, it came from the Roman Empire!

Agreed and nice points...

I will like a few more to that list, as the lack of compassion in the present day church leaders for the weak, poor and needy, because most of the miracles Jesus did if not all were borne out of compassion. We've not fully recovered from the recent blasphemous heresy by one of them who claimed Jesus hated the poor and never visited them, so is it such heartless and poor-hating leaders we expect to be endued with the same measure of power upon the most compassionate Jesus and His apostles who exemplified Him in that respect?

There is also the aspect of total self-denial and selflessness exemplified by Jesus and His apostles which is also significantly lacking in today's church and among her leaders.

Lastly is the (quality of) teaching in the present day church which is huge departure from what Jesus used to teach men in those days and also instructed His disciples to teach all men shortly before His departure. Matthew 28:20

So these are also very key areas that must be addressed in today's church if it's wants to experience the same measure of power as it was in the days of old.

The truth why most of the miracles we witnessed in the days of Christ and his apostles are no longer seen is because the people we call christians today are not connected to Christ.

Most church leaders today are also not connected to Christ. Some are actually connected to another spirit while some to demons.
All they do is for the money and the fame . They can fake anything so as to remain in business. But nevertheless, the foundation of God stands sure. Having this seal, the lord knows those who are his. Therefore , let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 2 TIMOTHY 2:19.

As for real miracles as it was in the days of Christ, we will soon begin to witness them firsthand because the Lord is training his armies who can wrought such miracles and much more according to his words when he said that we can do the same mighty works which he did and even greater works.

None of the miracles reported in the New testament of the Bible are real. These are exaggerated and embellished accounts written by anonymous scribes who were not witnesses of the events they wrote about. The writers of these myths and stories relied on oral stories told and retold over many years.
The authentic letters of Paul that were the first accounts of the ministry were written around AD 66-AD 70. Paul never physically met Jesus but rather encountered him through a cosmic vision. Paul never writes about any virgin birth or sensational miracles rather it is the writers of the gospels beginning with Mark that embellished this cosmic Jesus of Paul's letters into the the miracle and magic welding Jesus of the gospel stories.

So miracles don't happen in your church today because they never ever happened in the first place. What you have in your Bible are outlandish and embellished accounts of myths and oral traditions.
Notice that as the years go by and accounts are written in later years the stories become more outlandish . The Jesus of Paul's letters is different from the Jesus of Mark's gospel while the Jesus of John's gospel has graduated as being God incarnate.
Research the Religion you claim to practice. Educate yourself.
