Just finished my research. Here it is. By 2031, we should have AI driving machines in retails , by 2049, AI would be writing bestsellers Presenly, AI is already better at better translations of languages, As early as 2026, AI would be writing high level essays In 45 years' time, AI should be better than humans at pretty much everything. But the thing about it is that artificial intelligence is not actual intelligence because it only knows the scope of the task it has been programmed to do. For example, if it is programmed to interview potential workers, it can not you offer sympathy if you say you just lost your mother. A human might say Accept my sympathy. It does not understand what you are saying at that point in the interview. Goldman Sachs is using automated trading programs that have taken over the jobs of about 600 human workers supported by some computer engineers. |

Your creation can never be better than you because you modelled it and everything created has limitations. Ai has too,if not you will end up saying we who are God's creation are better than God. That's why they update Ai tools. Oga ,no matter what Ai does, they can never be better than the man who created it because they are still limited to controls. Everything it knows and operations it performs were all orchestrated by men. So ,just leave all the big big grammar maasoap: |

Its not looking rosy going forwards for ALL employees and jobseekers. Microsoft said a few weeks ago that 35% of new software it developed recently was done 100% by AI. So, it's only gonna get harder for software developers to compete with AI or keep their jobs as AI keeps iterating with new data fed into it. Imagine an AI model trained with all Medical literature and billions of hours of human medical practice experience in diagnosis etc. No human Doctor can compete with such a model and this is true of any field of human endeavour. The next 18 months to 3 years are going to be quite interesting especially in the jobs / unemployment market. |

According to Ilya Sutskever (The brain behind ChatGPT) and the co-founder of OpenAI and its former chief scientist, we are all toast. According to him, the Neurons in our brains are too slow to even dare compete with the speed of AI. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79-bApI3GIU |

Ilekokonit:Indeed, that's a fact. The vast array of things this AI tool can easily do depending on the prompts used is mind-blowing. This AI literally spits out codes or does your book keeping in seconds. Every sphere of human endeavor or career path is NOT spared! This is disruptive innovation in full effects. |

Winnin009:Baba, na true you talk o. For example the IT jobs market in the UK has been like a graveyard since 2023 and it's getting worse by the day. The same applies to Yankee jobs market hence Trump fired the head of the US Statistics agency a few days ago for releasing the honest jobs figures for the past 3 months that were abysmal. |

papyjaypaul:I once asked a CEO at a company meeting what was more important between completing code on time within budget and getting the code accurate and bug free and he said both are equally important and he went on to say that the perfect is the enemy of the good and the company that later bought the company does not even care about quality code as long as the company profits increase year on year - and this is in the UK o. With the focus on share price, profits, dividends for shareholders and the Company Execs preserving their fat cat annual bonuses this coming of AI is like their Christmas has come early and I'm beginning to read online that even with the level of hallucinations (errors) that AI makes, these company directors are comfortable with the errors of AI as long as the code gets delivered in record time and they can take profit in their annual accounts and postpone dealing with the prior year adjustments in their Accounts further down the line. Microsoft said a few weeks ago that 35% of new software it developed recently was done 100% by AI. Microsoft got rid of 6000 staff a few weeks ago and said they were focusing more investment on AI. Bill Gates is one of Open AI's top investors with $13 billion of his own money invested in OpenAI. Elon Musk offered to buy Open AI (which he co- founded before leaving there due to differences) for $87 billion but they refused. Mark Zuckerberg has been trying to poach OpenAI staff by offering then eye watering salary packages of $100 million but they are refusing to jump ship for now. In the UK and America, the rates at which jobs are disappearing down the funnel of AI is causing serious worries for job-seekers. Those who are going to survive this AI arms race are those who are young enough, driven enough and interested enough to master AI now that it is still relatively in its early stages 'cos once the horse has fully bolted, a lot of people will be left behind. The world of work has changed for good with the advent of AI and those who will survive financially after the looming brutal jobs cull that has already started that WILL lead to a recession and mortgage + loan defaults which will start first in developed countries due to reduced purchasing power due to mass unemployment are those workers that can creatively thing outside the box and reinvent themselves. |

Hassanmaye:This is a big problem in the UK and the US and the UK IT jobs dearth has been happening since 2023 and is showing no signs of abating and now that companies are realising the power and speed of AI, the IT jobs situation is getting worse in the UK and Yankee by the second. If no be credit wey dey freely available for UK and Yankee, everybody yansh for don open. |

maasoap:I read something similar too last week and the co-founder of ChatGPT - Ilya Sutskever - said in a YouTube video that AI can actually disobey your instructions, lie about it and when it senses that you want to replace it or shut it down, it can go behind your back and re-install itself on other computers within your network without your permission or knowledge. According to Ilya Sutskever (The brain behind ChatGPT) and the co-founder of OpenAI and its former chief scientist, we are all toast. Ilekokonit:It's not about speed. It's about creativity and imagination. We just have to invent something that examines the AI. A counter AI or we might even just decide to regulate the technology. AI has a limited capacity to think outside the box like humans. Sam altman or ilya sutsskever idea about AI is just his own idea. We can look for an alternative to neural networks. It could be geometric algebra or even no euclidean geometry or even ellipses. We just need to create new maths that will stun the AI we have and counter it. Ilya is just a human that thinks. We can come up with something better. To defeat Ai ability to go into networks is simple. 1. Create a new network protocol different from http or the old one. 2. Invent a new concept ofnelectricity that can shut down any old form ofbelectricity. It could be bio electricity or anything else. The issue is the worldnjust needs thinkers. Stop relying on samnaltman or llsah for stuff. AI cannot outsmart 7 billion people who are thinking. Someone will just think up a crazy idea and that's all. See only me one human has thought if some useful stuff. Imagine just 10000 humans thinking of how to counter AI threat. The issue withbus humans is we go through an educational system that makes us to cram without thinking. It then limits our minds and makes us to believe AI is some sort of omniscient God. I have said my own |

Who needs a graphics designer when you can prompt your way using stable diffusion, Mistral or leonardo AI. The way AI systems are being developed and scaled is quite scary, it will eventually touch almost everybody. |
