E don start in my area in Ibadan but it isn't heavy. It is just continuous.
It will rain for a while, stop for a while, and then start again.

Omo this kind heavy rain wey fall this morning ehn.
Over 6 hours straight.

We don't need prediction in Bayelsa state. It has become our culture.

It was in response to a post . Handwork people are usually used to describe artisans. Carpenters ,bricklayers , welders , iron benders etc

Ordinarily we are used to the fact that comes with August break being experienced during the month of August.

So the calculations based on the site work kept the focus on August not knowing that what we witnessed in July was actually the break we envisaged to be August.

I noticed a lady's makeshift shop by one side of the road i usually pass. Flood has taken over it and she couldn't make sale for sometime now.

Many people now depend on the saved money in their bank account during dis raining season.

A unusually cloudy weather has been hovering over Nigeria for over a month now. The sun rarely shines. Is the weather of this part of Africa changing? I heard the Sahara desert is getting greener? Could that be the reason the volume of rainfall is increasing every year?

I hope so.

But lake Chad is getting drier. And that’s the major cause of low food production and Fulani herder’s invasion of other lands in recent time.

Do you think the weather forecasts you get from Google are products of abracadabra? You don't think there is a primary source for the data? You don't think there are sophisticated weather stations across the country where these data are generated and analysed? You don't think there are experts operating and managing these stations?.........

And just FYI, the Nigerian aviation domain CANNOT function without NiMet. Please seek knowledge and don't always just jump to comment.
