My truck driver went to work got back and I did not hear form him for days. When his wife finally picked the phone she said he was sick, I insisted she gives the phone to him, immedialy I heard his slurred speach, I knew he had stroke. Told them to put him in a car and bring him streight to a hospital of which I called the Dr. The guy (35 years old) had stroke, infact the Dr did not want to treat him saying from interviewing them they had taken him to different babalawo and white garment spiritualist claiming spiritual attack. He had drank all sorts of Agbo, holy water etc at doses, so the Dr did not want complications on his hand, besides could they pay for treatments? I said I will pay.
It took 3 months for him recover and come back to work, what was in his favor was his age.
Anyway, the guy said that night he got back from work, he met a neighbour that he had beef with, that was envious of him, that the guy offered him banana, he took and ate, that it was the guy that poison him through the fruit. Lol, so his family had put that innocent neighbour on notice for spiritually attacking him through banana, of course they started taking him to marabouts and churches instead of hospital. Meanwhile his moto boy that followed him that night said when they were driving back, he noticed the guy had slurred speech and was acting strange, but assumed it was as a result of alcohol and energy drinks they had at the place they went to work.

Whether you practise Ifa, Christianity, Islam or Eckankar, every career definitely has an expiry date since no star can reign forever irrespective of one's religious inclinations. It is called the cycle of life.

If that wasn't the case, we won't have had Christian gospel singers who used to be in the limelight but not anymore despite always praising Jesus constantly.

True spirituality involves the respect of other people's beliefs since there are many paths that lead to the same source but the average religious fundamentalist will never get it.

When you're a true believer in Jesus Christ, the older you get, the better your career becomes. It keeps getting better…it's from one level of glory to another.

Yes Islam and Christianity isn't necessarily superior to our ancestral way of worship because they admonish its followers not to steal, lie, commit adultery, but the Europeans and Arabs who saw us as inferior beings came and imposed their beliefs on ours, however if every tribe in Nigeria is allowed to practice their traditional ways of worship we will have absolute mayhem and chaos because that means over 300 religion alone in Nigeria with some practicing human rituals and dirty sacrifices that will be littering our roads and junctions, Go to Edo and see what happens over there.

Oga I will use myself as example. For over 1-15 years, my feet will just get tender and painful randomly, it will get to the stage I will be immobilised. When it happens I will go to several hostipals at different times, some will send me to go do xrays etc.
People weh get "eye" de tell me say persin de drop something for ground make i match, say na jazz them de do me. In fact I started remembering my late in-law from Edo state that will rush to ekpoma to de-jazz himself any time he feels such pain on his leg claiming he had stepped on juju. Me to started assuming what if?
Oga it was not until I got to the stage, the last bus stop where my health failed and was completely immobilised, a life threatening situation where I thought of the future of my kids without me. Omo, I said I must fight it no matter what it takes. Bros I went to a general hospital (name withheld) aside cash in bank, I held £2k and $3k in cash say if na money that one must not be an issue.
To cut a long story short, 3 consultants I was seeing at the private side, each consultation 50k, eg I can see the 3 of them today ie 150k, each will direct me to do more test at clinix diagnostics, if I get the result this evening, I will go back and it is another 50k each, omo I no mind because I wan live! At clinix diagnosis illupeju everybody there sabi me that time. One I land wheel chair don de by my moto with 2-4 men to carry me. Lol
Funny thing is that people said the jazz "enemies" did that time was too strong it had caught me. Lol
Omo one consultant will priscribe drugs, we will spend eg 100k buying, same day we go see another consultant he will say so so and so drug will interact or disturb his own treatment, then call the either doctor, they will put heads together and represcribe another set, money go waste and I will have to buy again. I remember my guy we de carry me, as him buy medicine that morning, by afternoon them cancel and make we but another, the guy just de shake head say if na him, him for don kpeme, say where him for see money burn like this? Lol me I no care, even if I broke sha make I no peme. Heavy survival mode.
Oga, bottomline, the cause of all the wahala was GOUT. High uric acid, high urea etc from lowered kidney function. Stopped meat for while, stopped alcohol, stopped carbonated drinks, sucrose drinks eg 5alive, stopped salt, took febo G for uric acid, coveram 10/10 blood pressure, low dose colchicine to prevent gout flareup aside others. Omo, all my walking sticks of diffent types I have given away. Nothing like such attacks again, imagine what I suffered over more than 15 years. The question is how come doctors in hospitals I visited over the years did not diagnose me well leaving space for speculation that it was juju that was done to me?
Now imagine a Nigerian that did not have the resources available to me that time to find out the root of my suffering, likely he would have died asuuming they jazzed him, they will say he went to hospital, but they saw nothing.

Wow. Sounds like a typical case on the TV show, House MD. Most doctors are not very curious and motivated diagnosticians. Probably due to limited resources at their disposal and also poor compensation.

Finding the root cause when all hope is lost always feels like a miracle! Just like a detective finding the perpetrator of a crime after every possible lead went cold.
