A lot of people miss out not because they’re not qualified, but because they don’t know the process or where to start.

Let me share my exact strategy that’s been working for me and others:

✅ My 5-Step Scholarship Strategy (2024)

1. Use Social Media Smartly
Twitter, LinkedIn, and even Facebook groups are goldmines for scholarship info most people aren’t using them right.

2. Follow Legit Platforms
Websites like OpportunityDesk, Scholars4Dev, and a few more I shared in detail on my blog help you track the best opportunities.

3. Prepare a Personal Statement Early
Don’t wait until the deadline is near write a general one and edit it per application.

4. Avoid Paying Agents
Every real scholarship is free to apply for. If someone is charging to “process” it, walk away.

5. Join Active Scholarship Groups
Being in the right Telegram or WhatsApp group gives you access to what others are applying for and how.

University of Salford, United Kingdom. I already received Global Excellence Silver Scholarship of £2500. I need more to cover the outstanding tuition of almost £10k.

Since you still need to cover around £10,000 in tuition, you may want to look into:

Top-up scholarships (some schools and NGOs offer partial add-ons for admitted students)

External funding bodies that support Commonwealth students or Nigerians in the UK

Tuition support grants from local/state government or private orgs (e.g., PTDF, NDDC, MTN Foundation)

Part-time remote freelance jobs that can help while waiting for full clearance or visa
