You mean you’ve rewatched it over 50 times and also go on YouTube to watch reaction videos? You must really be a fanatic, and clearly have plenty of free time too.

I don’t think I could ever get that attached to a movie or series. Watching it is one thing, but going to dig up reactions on youtube? Nah, that’s a whole new level.
Almost all Naruto fans did this and I ended my own this year, I need to move on

Almost all Naruto fan did what?? See the entire thing over 50 times or reaction videos of YT? cuz if the latter, i don't know how many Naruto fans really did that 😩.

Hey i love Naruto, as much as the next guy but come on bruh, Naruto + Shippuden is like 700 plus episodes or so, there is realistically no way, an adult in these times has that much free time, even Uni students sef go hard except of course 👀.....

I watched Naruto a long time ago, and honestly, I’m glad I did. I don’t think I’d be able to finish it if I started it now. These days, it takes me months just to get through a series with 30+ episodes. There’s no way I’d have the time or patience to sit through 500+ episodes anime, it would probably take me years to complete something that long now.

In other news interview with the vampire s3 will now be known as the vampire lestat in keeping with the vampire chronicles by Anne rice.

That book has enough stories for 2 seasons. Queen of the damned another 2 seasons or maybe both books 3 seasons.

If you enjoyed interview with the vampire, beleive me that your enjoyment has just begun.

Personally the vampire chronicles went flat after queen of the damned I have no idea what Anne rice was thinking and probably should have ended there.

But it spawned so many more books and crossovers and she made money so who am I to comment.

Chief of War

Just two episodes released, and I have to say, I really enjoyed it. It will take awhile for your ear to get use to intonation but it's really good, especially the second episode. I really like how the story is setting, evenly paced.

I’m not saying the 50 time, even me I’ve only watched it completely 4x and the most important fights scenes like Naruto vs pain and others in YouTube back to back yearly but I’m done

Someone like me that is always at home working, the only fun thing I do is watching films which is depressing at times

Your right, that’s why I said I won’t do it again because this adult times I’m even trying to complete a series now so most of my free time is to learn more things

I hate to say this but Naruto has alot of useless episodes that you will delete without watching it and don’t forget 23mins per episode so you can finish it at least 2 weeks after deleting the many unnecessary episodes which you will definitely know as a fan

Common Side Effects" S1 (2025)

"You're a medicine salesman , cure everybody, and you're out of business!"

In times like these, when it's rare to find shows that reach beyond the surface and tap into something deeper than life itself, I stumbled upon this rare gem.

A hipster discovers some rare mushrooms with seemingly miraculous healing abilities, capable of curing every disease known to man. His mission? To share it freely with the world. But of course, not without consequences...

It was such an easy binge, one that left me yearning for more. The show throws up a host of moral dilemmas that made it hard to take a firm stance. On one hand, discovering a universal cure might be the noblest act since the evolution of our species. But on the other hand, the chaos it could unleash in our already hyper-capitalist world is unimaginable. Big Pharma would likely seize control, pricing it beyond the reach of the downtrodden , literally weaponizing life itself.

Struggle, mortality, and vulnerability are part of what shapes the human condition. Removing all suffering could flatten our experience entirely. Would people still be motivated to live healthy lifestyles if they knew a miracle cure existed? While it seems like an incredible solution on the surface, it could break the very fabric of biology, society, and ethics.

I love shows like this, ones that make me think. And to think, I had it sitting on my device for months.

An easy, easy recommendation.

Top shelf show, tbh.
8/10
Can’t thank you enough for this. I totally enjoyed this with my guys. One of the best animation of the year. I’m glad it got a deserving emmy award nomination. I hope we get another season with quality still maintained.

To Kill a Monkey (2025):5.6/10

I don’t often see Nigerian films or series, but the buzz on social media and Nollywood fans hyping To Kill a Monkey as “the next big thing after jollof rice” convinced me to give it a shot. Here’s my take on how it played out.

✅ What Worked:

Acting
William Benson and Bucci Franklin(Ozzy Boy & Efe) absolutely stole the show. Their performances were raw, authentic, and emotionally gripping, carrying the series with undeniable chemistry.

Cinematography & Sound
Lagos comes alive with stunning visuals gritty streets and tense atmospheres are captured beautifully. The music score perfectly complements the mood of each scene.

Relatable Story
This is the crown jewel of the series. The way it captures everyday Nigerian struggles, financial hardship, family pressures, and crushing societal expectations hits home hard. It’s the standout element that made the show resonate deeply with viewers, reflecting the gritty reality of life a Nigerian living in Nigeria today.

❌ What Didn’t Work.

Cybercrime/AI Concept
The premise of a cybercrime thriller infused with AI sounded intriguing, but it fell flat. Beyond dialogue, there’s little to no action or tangible tech elements to back up the hype. As a tech enthusiast I wanted to see how, but it never happened.

Subplots & Character Arcs
Several subplots start strong but fizzle out, leaving characters like Sparkle and Teacher underdeveloped and underutilized.

Ending
The final episodes feel rushed, cramming too much into too little time. The resolution lacks impact and fails to tie up the story satisfyingly.

To Kill a Monkey is a visually impressive and well-acted Nigerian crime drama with a story many can relate to. However, it falls short in its cybercrime portrayal and has some uneven storytelling. It's a decent watch, but not as groundbreaking as the hype suggests.

I had a little over 40GB of data that was about to expire, so I decided to use it to download AOT instead of letting it go to waste. I downloaded Seasons 1 to 4, but it turns out the entire fourth season is dubbed. I hate dubs, and now that 11GB download feels wasted.

Can you help me with links to download subbed versions of Season 4? I’d really prefer to watch it subbed. By sub I mean Japanese versions with English subtitles.

I’m planning to start rewatching the entire series little by little from next week. Hopefully, I should be done before November.

They kept the original theme and the animation style! Also, they brought some of the original cast!
