People should be assured of their position first before doing gra gra. See all the drama she dished out with just few hours of power. Even saying I don't care when asked about Isabella and prince.

You'd still have same entertainment value by using points between winner and second runner up.
The long term implication of this would be less intensity in the main HOH game. People would do just enough to be in the top 4 and ramp it up in the challenger where there's less competition.
Afterall, in the challenger, you only have 4 people to contend with as against 29.....
The main HOH beat 28 other people to win it, makes no sense to gift It to a challenger who just had to beat 4.
Another option is to make all the challengers face off and have only the winner face the HOH.
Even in boxing, you can't challenge the champion by being in the top 5. You have to be the number one challenger....

But the challengers also beat the others na ...top 5 out of 29 is ideal to challenge ...so see it as the final hoh game ... this means u aren't hoh till after the challenger....

I will never understand falling for someone this hard under 1 week. See Gigi crying for Victory that most likely doesn't send her like that.

I kinda like it.
Her short reign have given the HMs what to expect if she ever returns as hoh. She's shown in her very short reign that she's the type to be over-assertive with power which will only create enemies for you. The smartest thing to do would have been to use the opportunity to warm urself to the HMs knowing the crown is not guaranteed yet until after the end of the challenger IF YOU ARE ABLE TO RETAIN IT
