Hello boss, MDM Bypassed, I was making enquiring with an apple service center person at victory island concerning MDM Bypassed, he told me that it is likely a laptop that was stolen and that there is still the possibility that the laptop with be permanently locked remotely and be useless. I don't want to believe the apple service center representative the reason I wanted to ask you here, please sir kindly explain the MDM Bypassed 1 Like |

MDM means mobile device management which is used by companies to manage their devices. It is used on Macbooks and IPhones. It's not in all cases that the devices are stolen. For example this was sold by the company in the US that was shutting down operations and selling off their assets. Most times they don't have time to start removing MDM from each of the laptops so they just sell it off like that. However for this particular Macbook, the MDM profile have been removed and suitable for usage. The only downside is one can't reset it otherwise it will lock. |
