Sarah Ogoke, whose picture is attached hereto, is the only Nigerian and D'Tigress to win five Women Afrobasket title in a row (2017, 2019, 2021, 2023, 2025).

Ogoke has also been managing a medical career while proudly representing Nigeria. She is a Surgeon and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Premedicine from Southern Polytechnic State University, Marietta, Georgia and a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) at the New York College Of Podiatric Medicine at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.

She is currently a nursing mother with a baby not even a year old yet she showed up for Nigeria at this year's Afrobasket.

I beg to differ. Podiatric physicians are recognized as physicians, just like dentists and eye doctors. They are also qualified to diagnose, treat, and prevent conditions affecting the lower extremity through medical and surgical means. Saying that she is not a doctor is a bit strange.

She is inspiring. We need more women like this as role models.
