I mean this from the bottom of my heart. I would rather he loses than win with ibo votes. That’s the depth of our feeling of many. Your votes are inconsequential to us. The people lobbying for SE votes for Tinubu are ibo politicians who know with SS defections, the game is up for them.

I am not a fan of all these nonsensical regional rotational form of democracy and I will never consider voting until Nigeria is restructured and everyone is given equal opportunity to contest for political office at every general election.

However Mr. Umahi. By 2031 the fifth republic democracy will have been 32 years old and out of this the south west alone will have enjoyed the presidency for 16 years. That is half of the entire duration, just one out of six geographic zones if Mr. Tinubu is re elected.

How does a nation that expects to fire on all cylinders have leadership that oscillates essentially between the northwest and southwest with other zones acting as fillers and political makeweights, spare tire zones for deceased and invalid leadership.
