Well! Well!! Well!!! I just finished "the judge from hell". It took me two weeks or so to complete. A drama that I'd have watched in 2-3 days. Since I'm bored lemme just drop a review here before taking up the 'good boy' drama.

First of all, the worldbuilding and lore are just laughable, to be honest. If you're going to adapt real-world religions and mythologies and change up stuff, at least put some care into it and have some internal logic. What do you mean Gabriel came all the way to rescue Justitia from Hell (her original home BTW) because she's suddenly a good person, when said angel didn't rescue Daon (was brought back by Bael) or the human Kang Bitna, who we never hear about again? Justitia is a DEMON and moreover the personification of justice. She shouldn't have to abide by human rules of good or bad. Also, Satan rebelling against Lucifer...? There were no other demonic names to use? And if Justitia was saved for being "good", which happened because she was becoming more human, why were other demons who were becoming human then being punished for doing the same? Mando can become a Christian, then later become Buddhist? To me, the writers were just doing whatever here, but I am open to any explanations.

Then when it comes to the plot, there were so many head-scratchers. Here are a few:

- Arong stopped chasing demons to become a full-time fan girl? Moreover, she was surrounded by demons who were practically human: Mando, the clean-up crew, etc, and she did nothing.

- What was the point in Bael asking Justitia to free J and send him directly to Hell? What would it have mattered to Bael in any case which murderers Justitia allowed to be punished by the law versus punished in her usual way? Also Justitia is apparently Bael's chosen successor but he sent an assassin after her?

- What was the point of the redevelopment plot if it played such an important role in finding the Kylum? All they did was mention it a few times until J revealed that it was where the Kylum landed.

- Speaking of the Kylum and Satan, both ended up being dispatched so easily, I can't believe they were set up as some kind of Big Bad and J the HUMAN serial killer ended up being so much more threatening (at least according to the drama's logic).

- I'm still wondering why any of the criminals' cases had to even make it to court before Justitia dealt with them in her own court? Once she knew who they were, she could have gone after them before their cases made it to trial and it wouldn't have mattered. Or she could have properly sentenced them then either have them broken out of jail or get them before they get to the prison like she did for the DID faker.

Also, you will never see shoddier police work and legal justice work in Kdramaland than in this drama. Honestly if you're hoping for some proper legal/cop drama action, think again.

I was also not a fan of the romance; I completely skipped their dating montage. I think the drama could have worked without it; I much preferred the flirty-hostile banter they had in the first few episodes. I really couldn't see what they liked about each other; all the FL did was look into the ML's eyes and her heart started beating. I'm not even sure at what point the ML fell in love. Not good enough. I think a slow, subtle attraction that came from them teaming up with each other would have worked better, and maybe they get together at the end or the drama leaves it open-ended.

PSH acting was top notch! Kudos to her and the villains in EP 1-7. They were the only stand out in the drama. All other stuffs were shitty and mediocre. Overall I'd give it a 5/10 rating. No offense
This is not a review o, it's a rant 🤣😂. We understand. The best thing about the drama was her acting. It showed that she has improved.

Bitchxrich 2 has ended. Tsk tsk. After writing rubbish story for us, the writer still managed to give us a "good"? ending BUT! First of all what's with the fake cliffhanger ending 🤣🤣🤣 lmao totally unnecessary and not well done cos what are we even supposed to interpret from that. Did she write a starting salary or was that a blackmail situation 🤣🤣 the faces they made did not fit the situation at all but that's even the least of my problems. My biggest gripe is the fact that the writer couldn't make the "good guys" win without trashy methods. I mean why would you use a sensitive matter as sexual assault to get your win. In a world where a lot of people are losing everything and even being arrested because someone falsely accused them of sexual abuse, this writer thought it was a good idea to have hye in accuse the principal of sexual abuse just so he could be caught? I swear my mouth fell to the floor in unbelief. That was real rubbish, thats basically encouraging more people to indulge in false accusations. Like we're out here battling real life abusers, you people are adding to our headache by accusing people wrongly. They also had Park Woo Jin lie that min yul hee was gaslighting him and I'm just like really? That one wasn't even such a big deal cos at least no one gets arrested for gaslighting and it's not like they let him go scot free so yeah... Anyway they showed us the bad guys getting caught but we didn't see any of the consequences of their actions. Oh well that one no be problem, we can imagine how they will end. At the end of the day, the writer deserves cane and I miss Lee somang. The funny thing is, if they ever decide to do a season 3(hopefully not in Jesus name) I go still watch am o🤣

‎I guess among all the lawyers in law and the city, it's only ha sang gi that doesn't have a clash with his boss. is that because they sorta kinda have a crush on each other or because they barely get any work? I feel like the only time I've ever seen him in court was for the case of the cheating couple that died. On that their "crush" matter, I wonder if they'll ever admit they have some sort of feelings for each other. seems like it'll be hard especially since she's his boss, it might come across as unethical or whatever even though they are both 2 adults especially since they have other staff around them. I honestly did not get that PhD part tho, are they really trying to tell me he can't work and school at the same time. I mean, how much is the law they're learning sef, can't someone do PhD on a part time basis? I honestly didn't understand that part. The case of that dead baba had me🙄 because all he left was debt, his siblings were comfortable allowing a child inherit the debt but I bet you if he was a chaebol with lots of money and assets, they'd fight the child tooth and nail to inherit his assets. human beings are so terrible and selfish, I can't even. TBH I've never been comfortable with family members inheriting dead people's debt. I know it's mandatory especially in some cases like loans from banks and whatever and it might be incredibly naive of me but I feel like if person don die e don die. why disturb someone else to pay their debt but then again I know it could be necessary in some cases plus a lot of people will probably start faking their deaths to avoid paying back loans🤣😩 God should have just made me a plastic spoon, I can't deal with humans and their intricacies walahi. as for the insurance company, they're awful but the workers' are the worst. you people have the power of numbers, you can come together and demand that they stop keeping you all late at work due to someone's "mistakes" instead you'd all rather bully the one person that made the mistake instead of standing up to your employer. shame on them!! ahn ju hyeong is a better person than I am cos I would have told that salesman I don't have any insurance to buy. He should sleep at work mtcheww. I will never understand Korean dramas and their aversion to showing pregnant women and their bellies. infact until I watched fated to love you, I don't think I had ever seen a pregnant woman's stomach in dramas and even the few ones that show their bellies have been supporting characters never the main leads. I was just rolling my eyes when munjeong was having an ultrasound and they didn't show the stomach. it's like you people will show men shirtless, you'll show naked or almost naked women but when it comes to showing a pregnant belly you suddenly cross the line? 🤣🤣🤣 I've never understood it. ngl if not that honey Lee did a pregnancy photoshoot where she showed her belly, I for no believe say Koreans dey get belle🤣 i bet in the whole of dramaland there's probably only 5 dramas that has shown a pregnant woman's stomach. 1 thing I like about this drama is the minimal number of villains. The main leads are all cool people and even their family members are awesome. everybody's parent is normal and munjeong is married to the best man ever. I Love it. I Wonder what the deal is between the advisor ahjumma and that thug. why is she so hell bent on saving him and why does he hate her so much. she's definitely not his mom cos she said "when I first met you, you weren't like this" so what soured their relationship?

Saw the first teaser for kim yoo Jung and Kim young dae's upcoming drama and so far it looks good. From what I've read of the plot and from what the teaser shows, her character is supposed to be like an anti hero, I think it's going to be interesting if they stick to that. I hope they don't suddenly turn her into a goody two shoes halfway through. I feel like the only drama I've seen where the main lead was a proper anti hero was miss Ripley which was made in 2011. Lee da hae was so awful in the drama but I kept praying no one would catch her🤣 I think the reason that drama worked so well was cos it was based on a true life story and well, humans are flawed. Anyway I'm looking forward to this one.

*Sigh* another talented actor lost to a possible suicide. It is well.

My song of the day:
Sunmi - Crossroad

I've been listening to the OST from "the judge from hell" since yesterday. Maybe that's how I wish to part with the drama and probably one among the best thing in the drama.
I posted it yesterday but nairaland bot decided to do their thing.

Remember, you're the unrivaled queen of dramas, and you should fully embrace and live up to your legendary reputation in every possible way. If by any chance you are in the mood for a twist, you could sneak in a viewing of "Vincenzo". But then again, don't listen to me 😀

Police said no sigh of foul play. Maybe he died of natural causes? 🤷. I know 'no sigh of foul play' may mean that he wasn't killed but we can only hope that he didn't succumb to depression. Read that he was in a drunk driving incident in June and his currently airing dramas had to reduce his scenes. It is well.

I remember watching an interview of Ji Chang Wook where he said that he still lives with his mother and some people were making fun of him. He explained that it helps his mental health, coming home and seeing his mum doing normal stuff, maybe watching TV or doing other regular things. The pressure of the job and industry can be too much at times. It's ok to find some form of normalcy.

It was a suicide. He had financial problems plus alcoholism before the drunk driving incident plus he was no longer being represented by an agency.

If it is hmm that his girlfriend is God's strongest soldier because what??!! You people were dating for 10 years, he had a one night stand with an Instagram baddie that resulted in a child, he also dated a much younger woman in the midst of all that and this woman still went ahead to marry him. Ok o. It is well. I wish her well. Tomorrow she should sha not comman cry on social media about the man cheating on her cos her eyes are wide open and she entered the marriage willingly.
