Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has gifted Super Falcons star Tosin Demehin ₦30 million and a house at Sunshine Estate, Akure, in recognition of her outstanding performance at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations!

Demehin was honoured at a civic reception in Akure. Media officer Mary Akinsola and team secretary Mary Oduboku also received ₦15 million each for their roles in the team’s success. 💰🏠

Demehin said the reward "means the world" to her and called for more support for women’s football in Nigeria.

Oh relax dude. Demehin might not have the chance no more. There are 18 LGs in Ondo and maybe 30 something LCDAs I guess. There turn will always come. It’s always one step after the other. It’s not as if government can be present in all LGAs at a go. So calm down and let the poor girl enjoy her time.

Ehn now, we love our leaders looters like this.
We will celebrate the success and forget about the failure of our local, state and federal governments to employ civil servants for the provision of basic services and public utilities like electricity, water, free education, free healthcare.
