A woman who froze her eggs at age 30 so she could have kids later has shared her disappointment after none of the eggs survived the thawing process.

According to an X user, the woman is now 41, finally found love, and was ready to start a family — only to discover all the eggs she’d stored for over a decade didn’t make it.

“Lo and behold, NONE of her frozen eggs survived the thawing process. NONE! After paying for storage for over 10 years!” the post read.

Another X user reacted saying the clinic should refund her for all the years of storage, but the original poster clarified, “No one did anything wrong. Her eggs just didn’t survive thawing.”

That is devastating to say the least.. wasted money, efforts and hope

If she did it to enjoy her life first, and she has enjoyed her life, then she doesn't need the eggs anymore…
She should keep enjoying her life, since that's what matters to her.

I really pity ladies who think they can just freeze their eggs and live recklessly till they become 40+ and then start having kids...

They don't realize that most of these procedures are expensive and highly unreliable. Nothing like being serious at a young age, settling down and raising a family.

I bet if they were in her, they might have not survived also.

If you want kids better get pregnant now, don't go greasing poles in your 20s and 30s and suddenly want to have kids in your 40s when your wombs are cracked.
