My fear with this new format is that if weekly evictions is still determined by the audience, then it directly contradicts and undermines Big Brother's goal of favoring entertaining housemates. Basically, bandwagons can still prevail.

The only way this new format can work is if Big Brother cedes full control to the housemates. As long as the public is involved, this format simply can't work because the viewing majority will vote with sentiments either way.

Or does Biggie plan to carry housemates who get low scores from their housemates to the finals based on public votes... Only to go home empty handed, or worse off than their peers who left weeks prior? In that case, what would even be the point of evictions, LoL?

Viewers voting is a way of driving and keeping engagements. The more you participate and feel like you are involved in the process of determining the winner, the more you are likely to keep watching the show because you have become not only emotionally but also practically, in a measurable and tangible manner, invested in the show. Viewers determining the winner is something I don't think they will ever stop doing.

What I think they should do however is to reward the candidate that gets nominated as the most entertaining housemate in a way that excludes them from eviction. Basically the most entertaining housemates for that week can not be evicted and is guaranteed another week in the house. This would mean that every week the most entertaining housemate as decided by the housemates stays another week in the house to keep us entertained. This will run on till the end of the show and ensure we don't lose anybody valuable

As much as I ended up not liking Phyna, she worked for that win. Probably worked harder than a lot of past winners. Tasks she dey, mouth she get, vawulence was her forte and she come add romance with the “finest” boy. Love triangle abi na quadrangle, she dey. She even did unrequited love. Best friend betrayal…. In short, she should be legendary.

Housemates picking winners go sweet sha but I just hope our Naija method of always looking for ways to beat the system will not make a mess of that system. Imagine if the winner comes out and dashes the people who voted for him/her some cash. Boom, another business done set be that for future housemates.

*Big Soso* I got the impression he doesn't know how to talk, especially to women, he was rude to me twice (she narrates both experiences, 2nd time being earlier today when he said, 'you no dey hear word but she didn't hear him). But I spoke to him about it & he made me understand that it's his flaw & he's trying to work on it, he tried to say that it's how he is but I corrected him that it's a wrong mentality. Apart from that, he'll be a good leader

*Big Soso*: KK isn't troublesome so his incident with Bright surprised me but I was in the bedroom when it happened. I approached him in the bedroom later in the afternoon to talk to him & he started crying, I rallied the guys to cut him some slack that they've been mad at hik enough, it was time to show him love so depression won't get the better of him. Victory spoke to him & I hoped he'll go one better to save him which he did & now I respect him more cos KK has been reassured & noe he's happier, I respect Victory more for the decision

*Big Soso*: I think it all started with Thelma picking KK which upset Isabella but I don't blame KK for accepting, it's a game, no one here is married & the HOH room is comfy with plenty goodies. Although he owed Isabella an explanation & it's cool that they talked it out last night. The other issue is when Thelma asked KK to he Bright & he spoke to rudely, also called him a bitch so the house were angry with him so his emotions got overwhelmed. But it's good the boys listened to him & talked to him, Isabella as well.

*Big Soso*: It's important, self love is the best. Outside the exercises, fitness is in our day to day lives especially what we eat. I suggested to my team (meat based) that we should start with our daily activities. I think it will be interesting, i'm better with my workouts. I suggested we translate our debate to vernacular for everyone to understand but it was turned down
