Comparing Buhari and Tinubu: Are President Bola Tinubu's Appointments Really Lopsided In Favour of Yorubas?

Recently, there has been a coordinated disinformation and misinformation campaign led by Malam Nasir El-Rufai to try to paint the Tinubu administration as a Yoruba-centric administration.

There are twenty Military and Security agencies in Nigeria. Of that twenty-one, only six bodies are headed by the Southwest. The bulk rightfully goes to the Northwest, which also occupies the choicest portions.

Please find below a breakdown of these offices

Minister of Defence: Mohammed Abubakar NW
Minister of State for Defence: Bello Matawalle NW
National Security Adviser: Nuhu Ribadu NE
Chief of Army Staff: Major General Olufemi Oluyede SW
Chief of Air Staff: Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar NW
Chief of Naval Staff: Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla SE
Inspector General of Police: Kayode Egbetokun SW
Director General of the DSS: Adeola Ajayi SW
Director General of the NIA: Ambassador Mohammed Mohammed NC
Chief of Defence Intelligence: Major General Emmanuel Undiandeye SS
Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service: Kemi Nandap NC (by marriage)
Comptroller-General of Customs: Bashir Adewale Adeniyi SW
Controller General of the Nigerian Correctional Service: Haliru Nababa NW
Chairman, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency: Mohammed Buba Marwa NE
Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission: Olanipekun Olukayode SW
Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Commission: Shehu Usman Mohammed NW
Commandant General Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps: Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi NC
Chairman Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission: Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu NW
CEO Nigeria Financial Intelligence Unit: Hajiya Hafsat Bakari NE
Controller General of the Federal Fire Service: Engr. Jaji O. Abdulganiyu NC
Director-General National Youth Service Corps: Brig Gen Olakunle Oluseye Nafiu SW

The fact remains that under President Tinubu, our defence architecture is balanced, which is why, for the first time in eight years, we have a member from the Southeast as a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff: the Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla.

The Northwest also dominates in the civil arena.

O reno this is what you said about Tinubu some couple of yrs ago.

It is absurd that a man you claimed to have all that negativity is thesame man you are trying to present & whitewash as somebody with integrity & without blemishes of tribal superiority for his tribesmen.

If you know how funny & awkward your defence for nepotism & bigotry Sound, you will always hide in shame.

Even Reno will be laughing writing this,at some point he would have said to himself that he is yet to see a core tribalist like president Tinubu.
Can you imagine, even in his attempt to select a section of the appointments he thinks is balanced,he is still finding it hard to show that Tinubu is not a tribalist which he is. They appointments given to Yorubas from Kogi or Kwara were not even added and the ones given to Yorubas married to people of other region were removed and yet it is still very Obvious.
In comparing with Buhari,he didnt classify appointments Buhari gave to Fulanis separately but rather he placed the whole north together, Tinubu's own is just Yoruba and not even the whole South.
Reno will be wondering what manner of man is he even supporting.

If I am Tinubu I will make sure that the region that gave me only 3% will enjoy only 3% of the fruit of my governance.

Obviously I was expecting the nairaland permanent residents and 30 thousand naira a month media crew,to come and derail the thread. It is easier to attack individuals than defend the national obscenity going in Tinubu/Yoruba government.
Again, you responded with this balderdash without commenting on the topic itself

Who do you like this? Village people or town people?

I hope the mods would do justification to this deliberate derailing.

Just like your colleagues, none of you have responded to the issue Reno raised but instead attacking his personality and derailing the thread.

And na this mentality una wan use to campaign for una principal. No interested in discussing the issue

There are people actually paid to do this. Misinformation and disinformation can't be left to run riot until campaign. Damage can be irreparable, it's easy to destroy than build.
