I AM IGBO

I am Igbo.
I am greatness forged in fire,
The embodiment of perseverance.
I rise, not because the world is kind,
But because I refuse to kneel.
No setback can break me,
No hardship can silence me.
My spirit is carved from resilience,
My path lit by the relentless pursuit of success.
Show me an obstacle,
And I will show you how an Igbo person turns it into an opportunity.

I am Igbo.
My ancestors traded in truth long before they traded in wealth.
My word is a contract,
My reputation my greatest currency.
I do not beg for respect, I command it.
My kings are heroes,
Standing tall in honor.
Dignity is our wealth,
And honor is our crown.

I am Igbo.
The architect of my destiny.
Where others see barren land, I see untapped potential.
Where others see risk, I see a future waiting to be claimed.
I am the lifeblood of commerce,
The backbone of industry.
I build empires from nothing,
Turning dust into gold,
Dreams into dynasties.
My wealth is not luck, it is earned, calculated, inevitable.

I am Igbo.
Bold, fearless, and proud.
I walk into any room knowing I belong.
My presence is power, my confidence unshaken.
I do not wait for permission to succeed, I take what is mine.
The world does not have to love me,
But it will respect me.
I have in me Boldness,
Fierceness,
And Compassion.
I am both warrior and diplomat,
Both fire and water.
I know when to build and when to defend.

I am Igbo.
Our graves are sacred,
Resting places untouched by greed or desecration.
We honor our ancestors,
Speak their names,
And pour libations in their memory.
As skilled as we are, no skull is mined.
Our greatness does not come from plunder,
But from creation.
We build, we nurture, we remember.

I am Igbo,
I stand like a garrison,
Fortified, unshaken, a force in comparison.
With explosive receipts, I chase down thousands,
Truth on my tongue, my words form the fountains.
A thinker, a warrior, a mind sharp as steel.
Through battles of mind and the wars of the facts,
I sing for the just, a relentless war drum.
A lion in motion, yet love in my veins.
I speak with a blade,
Cutting through lies with the truths I have laid.
I speak with a blade,
Cutting through lies with the truths I have laid.

I am Igbo.
Generous in heart, vast in spirit.
My home is open, my table abundant.
I take pride not just in what I build, but in what I share.
In my culture, a stranger is family waiting to be embraced.
My love is deep, my loyalty unwavering.

I am Igbo.
Intelligence runs through my veins.
I do not just follow the world’s pace, I set it.
I innovate, I strategize, I lead.
In business, in academia, in the arts,
My name is etched in brilliance.
When an Igbo mind is at work, the world watches.

I am Igbo.
Every December, no matter how far I roam,
I return home.
Because my wealth is not complete until it touches my land.
Aku ruo ulo.
I go to celebrate, to give thanks,
To stand before my ancestors and declare,
“I have done well, bless me to do more.”

I am Igbo.
Our women are unmatched,
Beauty and brilliance woven into one.
They do not just turn heads, they command rooms.
They are fierce, elegant, and unforgettable.
To love an Igbo woman is to understand the meaning of strength wrapped in grace.

I am Igbo.
The richest tribe in Africa,
Not just in wealth, but in willpower,
in culture,
In the audacity to be extraordinary.
My people do not just survive, we dominate.
We are envied, we are admired,
we are unstoppable.

I am Igbo.
A force of nature.
A legend in motion.
My name carries weight, my legacy is eternal.
I do not ask for recognition, I carve my place in history.

I am Igbo,
And the World Knows it.

The one with low self-esteem is your pathetic self who rushes to a post being complimentary of a people and gets triggered and furious over what you read! All that bullshit you think you've psycho-analysed is you trying to gaslight and preempt the rightful reactions to your inordinate greed, lust for power, wickedness and bigotry! Get a life!
Re: I Am Igbo! by Amudeneogu: 12:28pm On Aug 06, 2025
Be proud of yourself
Be proud of your environment
Be proud of whatever you are doing
Be proud of your political stand
That is what a true Igbo man is known for.
Thanks and God bless you

You ought to have skipped the thread instead of lamenting senselessly.

Must you involve yourself with people you claim have

Low self esteem
Prosecution Complex
Victim mentality

This explicitly shows that you are Pained and defeated in Spirit.

Get a life...

IGBOs remain the light sensible people gravitate to. grin

The way igbo sing wealth every time.if you are not in Nigeria you will think they are the only rich tribes in Nigeria why other tribes are poor.but in reality there's are wealthy people in all tribes of Nigeria. I have never heard a hausa or Fulani saying how rich they are despite their huge investments making them richest black people on earth.is it that there religion is against bragging ?

What do they have to be jealous about, they renamed streets and you haven't stopped crying ever since.

Why not play them return match and rename streets in aligbo too and see if you will hear pim from them?

Clearly the covetous ones are easy to glean.
Re: I Am Igbo! by esnbrutality: 7:37am On Aug 07, 2025
Ok...

You have all that is needed to be a great Nation. IGBOs are crying you renamed their street, you demolish their houses, you insult everything about them, you sabotage and undermine everything about their advancement.

Same IGBOs that cause you all these problems are telling you BIAFRA. Once you hear BIAFRA, you start ranting about senators and house of reps. Now I ask, why can't your Tinubu expel the IGBOs , so you can have your NIGERIA peacefully?

Or are you raving, ranting and crying endlessly against people you claim you dominate?

Unity beggars....BIAFRA will give you Peace grin
