When Funke Olakurin, daughter of Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti was murdered instead of Bola Tinubu to make sure that the perpetrators were brought to book, he ended up making fun of the death of the young lady by turning everything into tribalism by showing his hates for Igbos.

Mrs Olakunrin died of gunshot wounds in July 2019 after her vehicle was attacked by armed men, suspected to be marauding Fulani bandits whose violent activities had reached a frightening level across the southwest states.


Those arrested suspects include Lawal Mazaje, 40, from Felele area of Kogi State; Adamu Adamu, 50, from Jada area of Adamawa State; Mohammed Usman, 26, from Illela area of Sokoto State and Auwal Abubakar, 25, from Shinkafi area of Zamfara State....

However, the leader of the team, identified only as Tambaya, and three others are yet to be found.

Tambaya has been declared wanted by the police and he is said to be capable of communicating in Hausa, Fulfude and Pidgin English.

That's the more reason Peter Obi has to drop his presidential ambition for now to be Atiku vice.

Atiku is gaining ground and momentum in the north, obi should capitalize on it now stop saying that nonsense of Ruling for one tenure. Such thing doesn't work in Nigeria.

Obi should need to low down to conquer. His time will come. He need to be Atiku vice so that Apc will be kicked out in 2027.

I actually think he should do as you said. He should be careful of seeing his pursuit of the presidency as a personal ambition. The collective destinies of a lot of groups are now at stake. I beleive that he should go to a serious negotiation with Atiku and Co in the north and find a way to have a resounding/binding agreement that is acceptable to all groups in which he runs with Atiku and Atiku hands over to him or to anyone amenable to their party/group from the east.

He should stop sounding like Jonathan and get busy. He should not negotiate with these northern characters alone. There must be some political eggheads from both the South-east, South South and other parts of the country who support him in such meetings to make any agreements binding. But there should not be a crowd. Such agreement should be made now and not when Atiku and co might have won by their on efforts at the party convention. He can't win if he runs against Atiku and if he refuses to make such sacrifices, getting the northern block behind him in subsequent elections might be hard.

I am getting tired of all these approaches that seem to negate the crude realities of Nigerias politics. Ethnicity and religion define Nigerias politics. Get used to that or you keep losing..

I think you should rather tell Umahi this, so that he can stop arrogating to himself the role of Igbo spokesman and making reckless statements. As things stand today, Nigerians do not have a future under the APC let alone the Igbos.

We support those who support us and we vote for the opponent of those who vote against us. When ibos contest, we field a candidate or support their opponent.

2023 was a line in the sand. A psychological turning point/shift in the Pysche of many Yorubas.
