Highly unlikely the Ondo one will materialise. With 4 or 5 large ports in existence or planned for construction between Lagos and Ogun, and with Ondo being a very short distance away (Olokola - the proposed site of Dangote ports is no more than 10 km from Ondo), investors will think twice about citing another port in Ondo. At least for now. The next big ports should be in places like Bayelsa, Delta, Akwa Ibom. Expansion of Onne should be on the cards. |
