Have you been to Abuja? I am a Lagosian and wish I can move to Abuja. Abuja has every reason to be ahead of Lagos. As usual, they want to blame it on Tinubu. Please state your reason.
OfoIgbo:
Xenophobia in Lagos is beginning to yield fruits.

There is no reason Abuja should be ahead of Lagos, especially as Lagos is the commercial/financial capital of Nigeria.

The last two years of Tinubu's administration is beginning to gradually destroy the economic attraction and potentials of Lagos

Kudos should go to H.E. Nyesom Wike.. since his emergence as Minister of FCT, so many places have witnessed transformation. He is working unlike the other jihadists whose only aim is to introduce sharia and be amputating hands and legs all over the FCT.
Three gboza to senior man Wike.

Tinubu and his Lagos boys are gradually destroying the business reputation of Lagos.

Lagos has taken a nosedive in Tinubu's presidency, and you don't seem to be able to see the underlying reason

No one is talking about Wike and PBAT’s Abuja touch. The Tinubu Center alone is attracting billions and networks into Abuja rural areas mean foreign purchase of lands for development. Don’t sleep on Lagos…Lekki airport, New Terminal 1 as a Major Hub…Lagos willl keep growing.

As we can see, Lagos don bellefull but 3 other states from the same region have been showing up. Let me just not loud it before they start calling me bigot as if I'm responsible for the reason their region doesn't get mentioned in positive things.

You are busy celebrating the downfall of Lagos out of envy yet failed to see that no single south east state on the top 5 investment destination states. There are 3 south west states and 2 northern states in the top 5 investment destination

The report added that Lagos is followed by Ogun State with $7.95m, Oyo with $7.81m and Kaduna with $4.06m.

Damnn

I was rooting for Anambra! No single state from SE attracted foreign investors. As small as the region is, they have unable to get anything right, right from time up till now..

If not for one Nigeria, the region for don become poultry..
These are the reason why we told them that IPOB, ESN and sit-at-home will kill the south east economy but they insulted us to the brim

Lagos is not safe for investments so I'm not surprised .
So it is south east with IPOB, ESN and sit-at-home that is safe for investment abi.

Don't let envy blind you. There are 3 south west states and 2 northern states made it to the list of top 5 investment locations yet no single south east state made it.

I wonder how anybody will find this surprising. This is just part of a larger trend. Abuja with better plan, better road network, smooth traffic, busier airport and most importantly, peaceful coexistence among the ethnic groups who dominate it ie Igbos, middle belt and South South guys etc Abuja is poised to overtake Lagos. The surprising thing is that it's not only happening faster than expected but it's happening in several ways at Lagos expense. This shows that investors are sensitive to the increasing volatility of Lagos in the past few years, as predicted.
You are happy that Lagos is second out of envy but failed to see that no single south east came in the top 5 states bases on investment.

3 south west states and 2 northern states made it to the top 5 states but no single south east yet you are jubilating

It has always been becaus of the presence of the federal government. It has nothing to do with any sectional imput. Lagos enjoyed that streak for a very long time as a result of the federal presence in Lagos. Even when the sit of government was moved to Abuja, folks stayed put in Lagos as the past administrations ran the place as a "melting pot" of the nation.

Now Abuja is gradually taking over as xenophobic attacks and close minded policies gather momentum in Lagos. Folks will continue to leave "their Lagos" for them, untill lagos becomes another Okitipupa or Oshogbo. No one will invest in an environment where someone can wake up overnight and start demolishing your property out ethnic fury..
See as envy dey make you dey jubilate upandan.

No single south east made it to the top 5 states yet you dey dance. Have you resolved the IPOB sit-at-home order?

There have been 2 sw and 2 nw presidents since 1999. What do you expect?

When PO emerges, he will help liberate the SE and SS from the economic shackles placed on them by Fulani and Yoruba presidents.

And BTW, about 60% of containers that land in Lagos are bound for the SE, so go figure

Demolition don't happen in Abuja
Pls go to Abuja and claim no man's land and see what happens to you by gbwari people's.
Reason why it happens like this you can't comprehend the economic growth with Abuja and Lagos is beyond your knowledge.

You should be consign about south east. Sit at home has destroyed the economy over there and that is why Benjamin kalu wanted to push indigeneship because he knows his people will be the most benefit.
