No bias, you on the other hand are absolving the USA of crimes they have perpetrated against Africa and the likes. Africans built the USA with free labor from slavery at least a great part. Now all of a sudden we have to pay and Bond to visit. And you are trying to justify it by calling it Visa Fraud. All of a sudden USA is the virtuous one ?
You seemed to be vexed about the mention of Visa Fraud.

Here is my initial statement.

99thEnemy:
But they are very clear. Tourist or Business Visas

If someone's intention is to JAPA, the person has no business with the Visa's of this type.
Anyone who does is very guilty of Visa Fraud which is the exact thing the United States is trying to mitigate.
And to aid your understanding, I attached images showing 35 common U.S. visa types grouped by category.

There are 35 common visa types (may be more), and the restrictions apply only to the B types: B1 (Business Visitor), B2 (Tourist Visitor), and B1/B2 (Combined Business/Tourist).

You seem very pained that I said anyone using Tourist or Business Visas for JAPA purposes is committing Visa Fraud. But why not use the appropriate visa from the others?

In fact, 10 out of the 35 visa types in the images below can be used for JAPA purposes. So why insist on using Tourist and Business Visas just because they were easier to get?

Is that not Visa Fraud?

Remember that JAPA refers to permanent relocation to a foreign nation for greener pastures.

I read somewhere that the bond could be 5k, 10k or 15k. It says in the write up also not less than 15k and starting from 5k, but don't know if this affects new applicants only.
We as Nigerians are one of the highest migrant group in Africa, surely we are going to be at the top tier so do not hold your breath.

I am very well versed in Visa Categories. On the contrary,I am enlightening you on humanity and humanitarian gestures. You can not call me to help fix your roof when it was leaking. When i come back to seek refuge in your house 10 years later, because my own roof was blown off in a storm. You start making ridiculous conditions for me prior to enter your house.(Paying a bond to make sure i leave)

The same house i helped you fix the leaking roof 10 years ago.

Why would anyone in their write senses want to visit the US now? If you pay me N5m to visit, I will turn it down and I refused to transit through the US until this administration is over. I would rather visit Tanzania and Kenya before the US.
Can't someone travel to another country easily before the visa expires?

Is it not good?
Many Chinese went back home (from America) and today China is almost overtaking America technlogically.
Is Donald Trump not God sent?
Which home do you want them to go back to ? Home where poverty is spread out like ocean sands ?

People go visit and are killed. Is that encouraging ?
A home you can't walk about in peace ?

Why do Nigerians kill people that come from overseas?

Don't they see their spending when they visit as helpful to grow their economy ?

Lots of Nigerians still view the US in an idealistic sense that was true in the 90's and to some extent, in the 2000's.

The US of today is third world for millions of Americans. It is almost impossible to visit the US for just a month without ending up obese, their food is just is just to horrible.

The bond should have been $30k minimum. You people should be happy. At least this makes the pool smaller. God bless America!!!

They devalued our currency. Gave us loans. Knowing it will either get embezzled or misappropriated. Took our crude as collateral. Removed oil and Forex subsidies. Now they’re locking the gates.

Corruption isn't Nigeria's major problem, but the ethnic structure. The political elites haven't agreed how to properly structure the country for everyone's benefits.

Corruption exists everywhere. That's not a problem unique to Nigeria.

You're something else o, must you blame south for everything? What concerns the southerners in this now?? Have you seen the US data for visa overstay that you just jumped unceremoniously into blaming southerners?
The majority of Nigerians who migrate to the US are southern Nigerians. Mere social media posts should tell you that.

Ultimately is still the corruption, i understand the ethnic structure is a hindrance but that just enables perpetuating corruption. We do not have a nationalistic approach to governance.
If we get a good president i don't mind him doing 10 years. As long as the country is getting better every year and the citizens can feel it.
This 8 years come and chop your own and go system is taking us backwards, Because obviously what they do is come and collect huge loans squander it as their share of national cake and handover to another geopolitical zone.

JAPA is no longer for the broke, it’s now elite migration.

Starting Aug 20th, Guesstimated JAPA Costs will be:
• ₦35M for 1 person (visa, ticket, cash, migration bond)
• ₦70M for 2
• ₦105M for 3

Time to fix our own country. Corruption still remains one of our biggest problems.
Stop blaming them for your misfortune, they are not the ones who are managing your economy, you all voted the incompetent Buhari, PBAT and co, stop blaming western powers for your failures please.

What is that thing that some Asian countries do to corrupt politicians? Someone remind me ;)
We need to enforce it on those destroying our country ASAP!

Anyone who's is the United States on a business visa or tourist visa should be honorable and NOT overstay like some others have irresponsibly done in the past.

It's indeed a blessing in disguise for many developing countries and emerging markets. Their folks should start looking inwards for sustainable growth.

The USA is fast becoming a North Korea, as it were!

These vindictive policies could only end up making the US a "closed country" as against the America of old known as the melting pot of the world.

Adieu, America!

DT is definitely leading America to Golgotha!

@hotseat
My own how you can compare America to Democratic republic of North Korea.

Us of A is miles ahead of the hermit Kingdom
