Transfer: Real reason top clubs snubbed Osimhen – Gary Lineker

Former England striker, Gary Lineker, has revealed why top teams in Europe did not make a move for Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen was linked with Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal and Manchester United this summer.

However, the only concrete offers were from Al Hilal in the Saudi Pro League and the 26-year-old turned them down.

Osimhen has now sealed a permanent €75 million transfer to Galatasaray, where he spent last season on loan from Napoli

Lineker, speaking on The Rest is Football podcast, claimed several clubs were “nervous” about signing the Nigerian.

He said: “I hear through the grapevine that some clubs are a bit nervous because he sometimes goes missing for a few days.

“So apparently, there are slight concerns about his character in that regard.”

Will he get playing time in turkey? Yes!
Do they appreciate and respect him? Yes!
Is he getting paid well? Yes!

So what's the issue? If he goes to a club that has won CL and they don't win it during his stay or he does not even get playing time, of what benefit is that to him?

People need to start respecting decisions of others. If y'all are so concerned, put your kids in football academy and then start dictating which club they should go to or not but don't think you have a say in the decisions a grown up man has chosen to make in his career journey.
