Same here, I applied for archivist ll under ministry of information. I have not seen anyone shortlisted. Are they not recruiting again.

Someone told me they want to focus on applicants with Bsc before shortlisting HND holders.

You're right, I have someone that was just able to login in to his dashboard xterday(cos he probably firgot his username or password) He sha logged in and saw that he was shortlisted, he said he called the number on the site and the person that picked the call that he can proceed to fill his shortlist form as the shortlisting will close later xterday, so, he did.He picked Osun as exam centre cos there's no option of oyo where he stays. So, people that were shortlisted, have you started writing exams?if yes, was your dashboard later updated with date of exam and exact location in ur chosen state? Someone should please respond??

Looks like they actually did shortlist candidates for Fisheries Officer. Just got this from a friend of mine. After searching everywhere and not finding a single person who got shortlisted for the position, I can finally have some closure.

Posting to prefer location will be determined by govt or it can be influenced? What's the likely salary scale for level 08? Is it same salary or ministry will determine your salary and allowance?

Pay is 160k without allowances, Allowances could be rent/hazard/transport/or whatever else and would be amounting to a plusage of 20-30-40k according to which ministry you'll be posted to. Now about getting in, pray, if you can hustle connect hustle sharply, because this is Nigeria and na 08 you dey look for, 08 no be beans! 😅

what about locations? What will determine which state you will be posted to? Is it same salary for all state for same ministry and same level? Like 160k for people in Abuja, lagos and ogun state who happen to be same ministry and same level

The federal civil service commission has started sending text messages to shortlisted candidates for the federal civil service commission recruitment exercise informing them to update or select their examination center on or before Tuesday 12th of August 2025.

The message from the federal civil service commission reads, “Dear Applicant, Update your profile at https://recruitment.fedcivilservice.gov.ng/u on or before Tuesday, August 12, 2025.”

This comes days after the Federal Civil Service Commission previously informed shortlisted candidates for federal civil service commission to update their applications on the federal civil service commission recruitment portal.

Shortlisted candidates for federal civil service commission are advised to frequently check their text messages to avoid missing this important update. Shortlisted candidates for federal civil service commission should log in to the federal civil service commission recruitment portal and complete the profile update process on or before the 12th of August closing date to maintain their eligibility for the next stage of the federal government recruitment process which is the federal civil service commission exam.
