Asa Asika, manager of music star Davido, has declared him the most influential person in Nigeria and possibly in Africa.

Speaking during an episode of the Star Network Pod, Asa said he doesn’t care what others think, but as far as he’s concerned, Davido stands above everyone in terms of influence.

“Davido is probably… I don’t care what anybody says, I think David is the most influential person in Nigeria,” Asa said.

He backed up his point by sharing how exclusive Davido’s access is abroad, even in private spaces where only a few are allowed.

“The only two guys allowed in that house were Chris Brown and Diplo,”

he added.

Asa also discussed how his team has consistently secured major brand deals for Davido without compromising his identity. According to him, every partnership is carefully considered to ensure it aligns with Davido’s image.

“I don’t think there’s a brand that has a deal with Davido today, that isn’t aligned with his brand – or that we haven’t found a way to align,” Asa said.

He emphasized that nothing about Davido’s branding is random, and the team works with precision to ensure every deal reflects who Davido truly is.
