I don't understand when people say certain man or men made another governor or president. It sounds as though we don't have an electoral process in this country.

I seriously do not understand Nigerians.

It's alright to say someone supported another but saying one person made another is a total disregard to our electoral system.

Aregbesola is genuinely loved and respected in yoruba land than tinubu. Forget all the hyping on tinubu in yoruba land, it is aregbesola that helps him to win elections in Lagos .

Aregbesola withdrew his support for tinubu before the 2023 presidential election, that was why tinubu fell to Peter Obi all around alimosho, Alausa, the whole of mainland and even inside Lagos government house in Alausa.
Which Aregbeshola abegggggi 😂

U dey always spit rubbish 😂

Beautiful nonsense 😁

The way some Yorubas see Tinubu as all knowing ,all powerful and all in all terribly amazes me . It is sickening at times. It is as if no matter what,Tinubu can do no wrong and can never be wrong as far as they are concerned
It's really irritating to think that a group of people would exalt a man to the level that they see no wrong in him.

Kwakwanso never contested 2015 governorship election. Are you mixing up dates?

Na only Ganduje contest for 2015.
I didn’t mention any name.

I only pointed to the guy that said Buhari didn’t make anyone governor or elected.

His influence alone in the 2015 elections made many to be elected.

For Tinubu/Aregbeshola matter, Aregbe remain a traitor.

I don't need other people opinion because Aregbe really messed up. Go Egbeda and make people point to you house Aregbe dey live before God uses Tinubu to define his life.
Aregbesola does not need your opinion as well.

Is it the devil that used ebilokan to define destruction of Lagos and Nigeria since 1999 and 2023 respectively?

‘He turned himself into a god’ — Aregbesola blames Tinubu for Osun APC crisis

Rauf Aregbesola, minister of interior, has taken a shot at Bola Tinubu, former governor of Lagos state.

Speaking in Oriade LGA of Osun on Monday, Aregbesola said Tinubu was exalted “beyond his status and he turned himself to a god over us”.

The relationship between Tinubu and Aregbesola, his long-time ally, has been frosty for a while now.

In 2020, The Mandate Group and the Justice Forum, the two most powerful groups of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos were dissolved. The dissolution of the two groups came after Aregbesola reorganised the Mandate Group without the endorsement of Tinubu.

Also the party’s national caretaker committee led by Mai Mala Buni, Yobe governor, only recognises the faction of Gboyega Oyetola, Osun governor.

Aregbesola did not visit the former governor in London when he went for treatment.

The minister who is backing Moshood Adeoti, a former Osun secretary to the state government (SSG), said “only God can terrify us, not man”.

“We came back home to reposition our party to where it was meant to be because we followed the lead of our leader that we thought was a noble and reliable fellow. We followed him (Tinubu) dutifully with all sense of loyalty,” The Punch quoted him as saying.

“Some people even thought that we were no longer Muslims because of how we cooperated with him. We dealt with him without treachery but we never knew he planned evil for us.

“We exalted him beyond his status and he turned himself to a god over us and we had sworn to ridicule anyone who compared himself to God.

“When he (Tinubu) handed over the present governor to me around July of 2018, he (Tinubu) declared that he (Oyetola) will succeed me and continue my good works. That was what he told me. He knows he has not done so if he is listening now and he has failed to call my successor to order.”

Aregbesola said his successor will be ousted from office for failing to stick to the plan that will make Osun prosperous.

“That was how it was in Lagos at a time; a governor derailed and the party members unseated him using the ballot boxes. As it was in Lagos yesterday, so shall it be in Osun today,” he said.

“What is good for the goose is also good for the gander.”

Aregbe and his allies are just seeking cheap publicity. No one has his time for now because he’s just a lightweight politician who rose politically on a platter of gold.

One day Nigeria will become a Republic. In the true sense of the word. One day Nigerians will be free. One day they will finally awaken from this terrible nightmare of a feudal state.

As at 1999, he already rose to the pinnacle of his career at Mobil and a former senator.

He worked at Delloitte, then at Mobil for a long time.
Lolz. You must not like Tinubu very much, cos why do you insist on resurrecting his shame? Abi you missed the ronu WhatsApp update that year?

He didn't work for mobil either. He was just a board member, which one can get through investing heavily.

What most of his (Tinubu's) critics do not know is that it takes a lot of time, perseverance, tact, financial sacrifices, wisdom, first by helping others to grow, and carefully analyzing the political atmosphere to know when to strike when the iron is hot.

Those who were once beneficiaries of what they now call "cult loyalty", kept mute when it favoured them.

Today, they are pointing their middle finger at the same man they used to eulogize to high heavens.

Na so life be!

Politics is capable creating schism even between a father and his biological son just as Bukola Saraki did to his own father.

2027 remains pregnant for now.

The gender of the baby is yet to be determined.

One thing is certain, the year 2027 promises to be full of intrigues, subterfuge, revenge, betrayals, sabotage, etc that would make previous elections pale into insignificance.

Stay tuned!

Yarimo and Helinues hope you guys made the list of 1000 social media propagandists? A government who work well and the result is visible for all to see need no social media defender to defend his performance.

For instance, Peter Obi do not need 1000 social media personnel to defend him. His personality, charity work, honesty, sincerity, and readiness to govern a better Nigeria speaks for him all over Nigeria.
Pitobi has got nothing to defend. Stray bullets hit him every time, Pandora, and the fact he built nothing in anambra than a beer factory is yet to be disputed

Can victory be assured without support from the right quarters? Even in advanced democracies, support often plays a key role in determining who emerges as a winner in most elections.

Your argument is flawed and illogical. You Igbos know nothing about politics but will never admit it.

Unlike Tinubu who played a pivotal role in making Aregbesola a governor for 8 years, Buhari never made anyone in Nigeria's history a local government chairman, let alone a governor.

Likewise, your claim that Northern politicians don't call themselves betrayers on deflection is also false, as Kwakwanso's hatred for Ganduje stems from the fact that he felt betrayed by the man whom he made a governor. The same is presently happening in Kaduna State, where El Rufai is feeling betrayed by the incumbent governor, Uba, whom he helped install as a governor. We have recently seen similar cases between Wike and Fubara and in many other states.
Must everyone who has a contrary opinion be ibo?
Can't the person be hausa, fulani, Yoruba or Ijaw. Must he be igbo?. God must help you ooo

This is not true.

It simply isn't true.

The more BAT supporters peddle these tall tales, the more they open him up to great ridicule.

Shehu Shagari was often mocked for his humble qualifications. He was often described as 'the grade II teacher'. But to his credit, he didn't claim to be what he wasn't.

So many Nigerians were very sad when Donald Duke stated publicly that his childhood photos were being passed around as Bola Tinubu's. The question on everybody's lips was 'how much lower will it get?' To this day, nobody from the BAT camp has responded to Duke's revelations. undecided

And there's more. Lots more.

This isn't what people expect of their leaders. undecided

But who later won the election? We have stories like this before, but where are the writers of those stories today? From Kofo akerele bucknor to femi pedro? Where are they today. Lagos, Yorubaland is moving forward while theyre nowhere to be found.

That's not true. It depends on who you are relating with in yorubaland. Don't aways make the mistake of believing that yoruba ethnicity starts and ends in Lagos.

If the hand that fed you turns around to ask for your son to be used for ritual purpose, please don't bite him. Nonsense! You people just like to turn logic on its head.

Aregbesola did not bite any finger, he's just trying to detach himself from modern day slavery.

I'm struggling, honestly, to understand what this write-up is for. I wouldn't have struggled were Aregbe a performer everytime and everywhere he stood alone (without string) as a leader. At least, not when or where he was a Governor and Minister (he performed more poorly, maybe like Peter Obi as Governor), than a Fashola as both.
I honestly think I should write a book on " How Nigeria's political class and their backwagons love to misrepresent the whole truth to an upcoming generation".

If you view Aregbe as a betrayal but see Uba Sani as a hero, you might need a brain check.
Uba Sani that was picked out of nowhere to become SA, a senator, and then a governor, whereas Aregbe worked hard and supported Tinubu to become governor, earning him the reward of commissioner in the government.

APC guys call Aregbe all sorts of names, but view Uba Sani who El-Rufai has done more for than Tinubu did for Aregbe as a hero.

Rauf Ogbeni Aregbesola is a strong man to the core. He controls Alimisho LGA which has the highest voting population in Lagos Mainland.

He was actively involved before Tinubu made him commissioner.

Looking at the pix, he never wore BAT signature cap
