Yes we are different our parents raised us pretty well thank God for that .. I mean how will responsible parent make guns accessible to a 14yrs old ? Majority of school shootings in that country are done by teenagers ..why is this common in the u.s ?

Alot of African kids has unlimited access to their father local guns/weapons but won't get provoke to the extent of killing them due to excessive fear and discipline being imposed by their parents.

This is a result of poor upbringing of a child, you don't allow children to have excessive freedom or behave like they have special right under your care. You train them by your own rules, until they are fully mature to take a reasonable decision on their own. It is quite unfortunate that alot of African parents are copying this unsafe western style of rasing a kid in the name of being woke. The result has already being seen in the lives of the so called Gen-z, and it is just a matter of time that they start killing their parents or send them to jail too.

Africa old days parenting is what we should emulate because this modern day parenting is really wack how could an argument results to your own child carrying a firearm and shot the both parents dead, but when you spank or beat a child they sue you for domestic violence or child abuse, I can’t raise my kids in the US and some other countries because the society is too porous with gun violence and substance abuse that’s exactly what is ravaging the US moreover I keep saying one thing until the US make firearm illegal regardless of your status in the society you don’t get a license only then they can actually have peace, European countries that refused to legalize firearms for their citizens aren’t fools.

True...if a lot of people here in naija had easy access to firearms , with the level of hatred , religious and enthnic sentiments , many would be charged with multiple degree murders..

that is not a genuine reason, poor parenting, looking at the boy' face it is evident he has esteem issues and he looks like he is bullied at school. The boy has hatred in his blood and found redemption in gunning his parent down.

My advice to African parents intending to travel abroad with their children or already living abroad: Train your children here in Africa first before going with them to the US or send them down to Africa for proper home training in the African way and when they are well baked and fully ready mentally, bring them back to US or wherever you are, to avoid stories like this.

I thank God that our background in Africa does not tolerate any nonsense from any child. Train up a child in the way he/she should go so that when he/she is old will not depart from it. Spare the rod and spoil the child. Oyinbos need to take a cue from African parents, any misbehaviour from any child should be met with serious discipline. Let that child's brain be on normal setting.

USA government giving their citizens the right to acquire and own guns that law should be banned and remove from their constitution..many of these their citizens will misuse these guns...that is why there is mass shooting in USA.. quite unfortunate
