Hon Emmanuel Chinedu Defects To APC, Promises To Work For The Party by odoemelamemmanu(op): 7:06am On Aug 07, 2025
The member representing Bende South in Abia State House of Assembly, ASHA, Hon. Emmanuel Chinedu Ndubuisi also known as Ijiriji Bende has decamped to APC from PDP in a reception organized in his recognition in the party's house in Umuahia, Abia State.

In a press statement titled " The Realignment for the Good of Abia: The Return of a Dependable Ally to our Great Party", which was released on Wednesday, 6th August, 2025 by the state party's acting Publicity Secretary, Prince Ifeanyi Igwe, Esq, who noted that the State Working Committee (SWC) were greatly elated to welcome with open arms Hon. Emmanuel Chinedu Ndubuisi, who was formerly a member of a detestable political party called the PDP and has chosen to identify with APC for the betterment of the State and Nigeria at large.

"Abia All Progressive Congress (APC) State Working Committee today the 6th day of August 2025 is greatly enthused to welcome with both arms the member representing Bende South State Constituency in Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Emmanuel Chinedu Ndubuisi (Ijiriji Bende) to our great party. Hon. Emmanuel Chinedu Ndubuisi  was a staunch Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party but today he has renounced his membership of the odious Political Party and  re-aligns with the progressives for the good of Abia and the Country." Igwe noted.

Speaking further, Igwe opined that via the combined efforts of the State Working Committee, they worked very hard and smart with Hon. Emmanuel, with a view to having a partnership that's beneficial to all, which has given birth to the honorable member giving his full support and allegiance to the largest progressive party in West and Sub-Saharan Africa , while stressing that this partnership will result to APC taking over the government of Abia State for a more flourishing Abia.

"The event is a culmination of the enormous collective effort which began months ago to open our door to Hon. Emmanuel Chinedu Ndubuisi to partner with us in our effort to take over the government of Abia State for a better and prosperous Abia. Our party remains the most progressive Political Party in west Africa." Igwe said.

Igwe confirmed that the party is very much open to embracing members who have a clear and deep perception of the principles of the party like Hon. Emmanuel, while noting that the honorable member will play major in the party in the near future both at state and national level.

"Our party is open to welcoming every progressive and insightful mind which Hon. Emmanuel Chinedu Ndubuisi represents. In  this sense, APC Abia State considers this alignment  of Hon. Emmanuel Chinedu Ndubuisi  a significant role for the future of our great State and the good of our great country." Igwe asserted.

Hon. Emmanuel while responding, said he was happy to have joined the party at a time when the party needs capable hands who can influence more grassroot support and followership. He promised to work assiduously hard in line with the State Working Committee in order to bring victory to the party at the state and national level. He thanked the State Chairman of the party and the SWC members for the warm reception and respect given to him at the event.

The State APC Chairman, Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu thanked Hon. Emmanuel for joining the party at this critical time and assured him of a stable leadership in the party. While speaking, Dr. Ononogbu acknowledged the efforts and tangible contributions of the leaders of party in Bende, specifically Distinguished Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, who is the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District and Benjamin Kalu the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives. Dr. Ononogbu encouraged other LGAs in Abia North to emulate leaders of APC in Bende LGA to move the party to greater heights.

Hon. Emmanuel Ndubuisi was accompanied to the state party house by the Federal Commissioner Representing Abia Sate in the National Population Commission  (NPC), Hon. Emmanuel Trumps Eke who was received by the State Party  Chairman Chief Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu.

Also present at the events were the State Secretary of the Party, Hon. Chief Chidi Avajah and other members of the State Working Committee.

Any igbo politician promising to work for Tinubu should not be taken serious, it will not yield any tangible results. The folks down there won't vote for Tinubu even if Ojukwu wakes from the grave and tells them to do so.

It doesn't make any sense, the president got 127,000 votes in 2023, he can easily cover that up by an improvement from the south South or anywhere else. Atiku got worse, 90,000. Even if the whole region votes for Obi, it would make no difference.

But why should he defect when he still has work to do for his people on the platform that got him elected? Jumping ship just for personal gain clearly shows his motive, and he might be in for a surprise at the polls. These guys have no shame or sense of responsibility.

They all don't want to miss out on election largesse.

Any candidate in opposition now, knows they are the ones sponsoring themselves, which is not a smart business option.

Let someone quickly do the arithmetic. How many were APC Governors, Senators, House of Reps in 2023? How many are they now in 2025? Has there being any progress or regress or just stagnant? Apply the same arithmetic to other parties and tell yourself which is the formidable party among them all.

The sensible eastern people actually knows that the force against east ruling as president is high presently. So they look for who to align with and also benefit.
When the right time comes they will come together.
Out of the tribe, North has always been consistently contesting every 4yrs just to hold on power.

South East does not vote for Failures like Buhari and Tinubu or any other failures that apc might present.
SE voted for Yardua, Obasanjo and Jonathan! And we all know the difference between those three and the other two disasters.
