No idea about if your example is real or not but all reality tv is scripted to some degree. The appeal with a 24/7 live show like BB is that there are less opportunities for producers to interfere and when you put 29 adults in a house under constant surveillance, they will break eventually no matter the role or script they are given. But you also have to have a script

Very true! Was going to drop this at some point, most reality TV shows are scripted to some extent (e.g love and hip-hop) but there's still a lotta real shii going on Fr. If you focus on the "script", you miss out on the fun.... It's not that serious, them no dey share their prize money give us last last. It's just the Hoh games I watch amongst the games. The other ones na just matured people wasting their time, just like soccer . Especially the sponsored tasks and Arena games. Truth is that they all came with roles to play and characters to exhibit, but each roles they have gives everyone of them equal opportunity to win. It's up to them to play their characters well and impress the viewers. I believe each role/character must have been given based on their personalities.

We cannot conclude that because the show is scripted means they are told when to fight, when to gossip, when to sleep, when to win or lose. The fights comes naturally, you cannot fake a fight. If we look at what leads to each fights, we find out that there is always a build up to it. Even mad men don't just wake up and start fighting, it's emotionally draining. Let's not forget they are 29 adults from different background living in an enclosed space, there's bound to be conflict of interest and disagreements always. We sef wey no dey inside house, we get people wey we no fit ever gree for, talk less of make me and that person con dey the same space for 2 days or something like that.

If everyone is left to come and be who they are naturally, I'm not sure the show will last up to a week. I might not like the fact that some of the housemates are over-playing their characters, but some others are entertaining us pretty well. It's just that some of them don't know how to exhibit their characters, instead they are trying to play out exactly what someone else has done before. Someone like this Kola must be thinking that Saga and Ozo went far on the show, so being a simp will take him far on the game.

The current housemates are trying, in 2 weeks, they've done a lot and have given us a lot to talk about. Everyone still has a chance to win at this point. They overdo it, but they are bringing the entertainment. Make we enjoy them. My 2 cents on the script thingy
