🤣 Jim Ovia is the chairman of Zenith Bank. Tony Elumelu is the chairman of UBA. Femi Otedola is the chairman of First Bank. |

OctavianAC:Elumelu is the CEO of UBA and Jim ovia is of zenith bank. You are both wrong. Femi Otedola is of first bank. |

OctavianAC:In this day of getting almost any kind of information in micro seconds on Google, it beggars beliefs how you guys can still be posting false information with the craziest level of confidence.. Na wah oo.. It is 2025, it is an unforgivable sin if we allow our smartphone to be smarter than us.. |

kedeojo:Femi Otedola is the Chairman of the board of directors of First Bank while Olusegun Alebiosu is the current CEO.. They are not the same role. In fact, Jim Ovia is not the CEO of Zenith bank either like you wrongly corrected the dude.. Adaora Umeoji is.. And lastly, Elumelu is not the CEO of UBA.. Oliver Alawuba is.. It is not every big business owner who doubles as the managing CEO.. That's where delegation comes in.. Please let us cultivate the habit of double checking our "facts" in this day of information availability everywhere before correcting others in public.. |

We see where our priorities as a country is, always on entertainment, don't get me wrong it good but education should get X 10 of this to take us to the next level, Companies that will employ people should get more too, but no, it's only on BBNAJIA, you will see rewards a graduate of with first class will be given ₦30,000 Naira to appreciate him/her, now tell me how does this motivate the youths to take education seriously, everyone wants to be an artist, a football ⚽ player or in the big brother house, and you want us to grow as a country nahhhh it's not possible it's not recoket science, we must do the basics if we must get it right 👍 |

WOW, a big congratulations to the tigresses... With the recent naira rain on the falcons and tigresses, it's certain that there's plenty of money to go round in this nation. But then isn't ironic that majority of Nigerians are poor and stay in poverty??🤷♂️ |

xperiencelove:You are talking about EARNINGS. Super Falcon's case is CASH GIFTS. The society Tiger Woods plays, has a functional education system where graduates enjoy at least a comfortable living. |

Quest7777:There is nothing absurd about this, you're just engaging in self-pity and have a parochial mindset. Do you even know how long these ladies have been playing without funding and recognition? 😒 These girls you're talking about have been training all their lives, some of them are also university graduates, just like yourself. You see them getting rewarded now after years of painful and excruciating training, challenges and disappointment and you think it is too much and it came overnight, whereas it's not even enough compared to their sacrifices. The graduates at least can face their 9 to 5 and collect their salary, while many athletes risk not making it ever, just like there are many footballers who never made the national team or even got a club. |

cyberbro:You have a point, but also look at it from the perspective of Nation Building. To what extent does this cash largese contribute to Nation Building? ... against the background of Educational, Health & Security sectors that are all in shambles in the country. If there was such reward system in those sectors, Nigeria would be a stronger nation. Brain drain & Japa syndrome would be at minimum. Our soldiers in Sambisa, Police at check points, university Graduates, striking Lecturers & hospital staff are all ill-motivated. Ideally, wearing the Green & white jersey for your country is enough motivation & reward. But then patriotism is almost zero. People play because of cash gifts. All these are absurdities and amount to misplaced priorities. |

Quest7777:While there is always a reason to complain about doling out cash, bear in mind that the promised 100k each for these athletes itself is part of nation building... See it this way: they get paid a 100k equivalent (say N150 or N160m), where do you think the money goes? It goes to 3 places: their personal projects, their families and their friends, all of these 3 entities are also vital when considering the economics of the cash. The ladies, their families and their friends are Nigerians, the money would help improve their lives in many ways. Now, these politicians wouldn't be doling out cash if it wasn't enough would they? Let those who can benefit amongst the ordinary citizens benefit, it's what you're also fighting for. These ladies are part of the ordinary citizens who don't loot, so giving to them is giving to ordinary Nigerians. |

Quest7777:When they're suffering collecting 40k monthly especially the home based ones do you ever think to speak out for them? This is their only career in life and they took a gamble to get here why can't you just be happy for them and stop this witchcraft behavior? Are you a crab in a bucket? |

Quest7777:You've probably never held any leadership position so I don't expect you to understand reward and incentive systems. When a county sends a private jet to rescue just one citizen in a crisis situation, it's done to make a statement on national pride and to spur motivation in citizens. The ripple effect will be felt everywhere, all shouting about soldiers have forgotten we have a remembrance day dedicated to them for this same reason. There is no day for ordinary citizens , enough said. |
