Okocha still have the skills but abit slow because of age....I used to enjoy watching him play for super Eagle. However I believed that this young president is doing better than all this old men in power ,pretending to practice democracy, while looting the nation dry |

You all are commending Traore for renovating their national stadium. But if this was in Nigeria, you all would have been questioning the cost of 300 million dollars and condemning the project |

Ofcourse he needs to be comnended for putting the stadium back into shape. Atleast the Burkinabes can enjoy internationl games on their soil. But if the picture above is the stadium for $300m, then Burkinafaso has just begun another long journey that leads to no wehere. What an inspiration that will be or maybe the wrong price was quoted by the inspired OP. |

lexy2014:It is for the purpose of sports and national pride. Your question is like asking what will Nigeria winning the African Cup of Nations add to the lives of the people of Nigeria. Do you realize 200 million Nigerians don't directly or even remotely have anything to gain from winning it but it is still a thing of national pride and togetherness that benefits all Nigerians. What you should be critical of is if the renovation is worth $300 million which doesn't appear so. No be everytime you go dey ask this your questions |

300 million ![]() ![]() How much does a new stadium cost. the money should have been injected in area that have a direct benefit to the people. this is share waste of money and unnecessary show off, just like some idiots in Nigeria are building very unviable airports in their state all just to show that they are developing. nonsense and ingredients |

lexy2014:That is Africa for you. Here we have our 15 trillion concrete road to El-dorado, 32 billion naira renovated International Conference Center in Abuja and you know na..... our 700 billion naira new or is it old airport in Lagos. Indeed, what will the average man gain in all these. |
