All this reaction is unnecessary
when the airport authority could easily charge him to court for a grown adult foolishness

All this drama is to divert our attention from the 712 Billion they want to steal in the name of airport renovation. Your tactics is not good enough this administration is inhumane seriously.
You can either go and steal your own billions
Or
Simply collect the contract from the minister and renovate it cheaper
Or you keep quiet please

No one is bigger than the state. He needs to be arrested and prosecuted for his terrorist act of trying to hold an airplane hostage.

Wasiu is an arrogant illiterate, he even disrespected the president but I knew his cup was full when I saw him disrespect the Ooni of Ife.

No one messes with the Yoruba traditional forces behind that king and go Scot free….. go ask the wise elders, no be me go loud am 🤫

Look at the very balanced response from Keyamo. Similar response from madridguy earlier today. The only person with a reprehensible response so far on this matter is none other but the entity below.

There are always two sides to a story. It’s good we are now hearing K1’s side. I will like to know the identify of the pilot and her political persuasion. I won’t be surprised if she’s one the usual Obidient who are filed with hatred for successful APC supporters.
Re: Festus Keyamo Reacts To Kwam1 - Valujet Incident by Emary(f): 3:18pm On Aug 07, 2025
The pilot didn't even move fast at all. (S)He was inching slowly hoping he would move out of the way. I don't see any threat to life here, contrary to what others have been saying. The suspension of the pilots licences is just overreaching, an attempt to pacify K1 so it will look like both are at fault. Could he try this rubbish in another country's airport? What of the inconvenience to other passengers who were delayed?

This is good precedence and a warning to those who are not friends of the govt to behave o cos no amount of gas lighting will be enough if the hammer should fall on anyone in the opposition. Wasiu is a friend of the president and it’s easier to shout that he should be punished. Let’s be guided o!
He should be punished because his action is wrong. Simple. Can you people not leave out politics and address issues squarely for once? Haba.

Someone that was supposed to be arrested and place behind bars for obstructing a plane from flying and they were begging him, those actions are attributes of individuals that feels they are above the law of the land because they have been privileged to be in higher position
They were not begging him. He just used that statement to redeem his image. The old fool messed up.

Good and fair from the minister. What sort of madness, especially from the pilot. The pilot should know the basics. Valujet wey no get value for human life. Even if it's a dog on the tarmac. It's not a bus park in Oshodi for God's sake.
Similar madness for a person to try and hold on to a plane to prevent it from flying! BOTH sides MUST be condemned.

Nigerians (at all levels of our socio-political and economic strata) only misbehave for lack of oversight and accountability. The staff that cleared him to take a drink into an aircraft are also culpable (he shouldn't downplay that).
What if the flask was in his carry-on luggage?

My disappointment lies in the Airport Security. The man should have been treated like a terrorist.

A domestic terrorist.
The man should have been arrested.
This will akaffect wasiu internationally. The world is watching.. That's hostage and terrorism in America which is felony

Good job by the minister. But this life no balance sha. Punishment for Pilot will be loss of income, Punishment for the fuji hediot na just flying restriction. That is why you dont fight in the mud with a pig who has nothing or little to lose You choose your battle carefully , not because you are a coward but because the useless person you want to fight may drag you into the mud.

Under tinubus administration keyamo has been exceptional in my observations, in this particular incident he was never afraid to hit the nail on the head, that is how a leader ought to act, kudos to keyamo.

When a person is foolish enough to try and hold on to a plane to prevent it from flying, it should be considered an act of terrorism. Any person can misbehave, even stowaway on a plane, or run into a stadium naked. It's the job of security and onground personnel to apprehend the person and deescalate the matter. It's high class madness for a pilot to put the life of anyone at risk and operate an aircraft like a motor park tout.

Where are all those Ethnic Chauvinist in Previous threads who were Suspecting that the Pilot, captains and Airline staff were people of a Particular tribe who "Disrespected" their god

So Whenever ordinary Nigerians show courage and self-assurance in the discharge of their duties...especially before a "big" man of your tribe, or are doing or saying what is right to people you consider your own people....,You people will term it "rudeness" or "arrogance" while associating it with that certain tribe.

Now that it's not "that tribe" but professional staff doing their job, what advice do you now give yourself?

All of us should broaden and renew our minds about each other;:for our mental health and for the sake of our intertwined destinies

Anyways it's the demons of social media annonymity that I blame. In real life it's not this bad.

But let's start toning this Chauvinism down.Abeg

Very professional of Min. Festus Keyamo. Both sides were wrong and placing Wasiu on a no fly list is a very bold move...

We have to learn some discipline in this country. No matter who you are, you should know there are consequences for actions.
yeah, he should start using God is good motors or aktc for the time been, and agbero that calls himself elder
