For anyone who is discerning, Abati is just playing the role of an agent provocateur. He is pushing unspoken narratives to the surface so it can be publicized and dealt with once and for all.
The right thing should be to listen to the pushback from the North he's accusing of harbouring negative sentiments about the Civil war instead of lashing out at him.
Kudos to Abati on this one.

If you do not trust a tribe with political power, why do you want to be with them in one country? The same tribe fought civil war so they can go their way, you saud no. You fought to bring them back, only to start hating on them?

What was the fight for? Why not let them go since you dont trust them?

Fact is that most northerners don't want to vote an Igbo man as president because they believe a president from Igboland will automatically give approval for Nigeria to be divided.

Let's put civil war outside. How are the Igbo's been treating others presently.

Buhari was dragged all through his presidency, still dragged after death for no meaningful reason.

South West people are being dragged because of president Tinubu even for the fact that not all the Yoruba's voted for him or supporting him

People from different quarters have been complaining about same thing by same people, instead of those concerned to look inward, they would rather turn the table around to look like the victims.

There has never been ends to any kind of war. The best is never to get it started and the worst is if you are the one that was defeated you and your generations may continue to suffer almost forever.

It has played out throughout human history. In contemporary times such as world 2. The countries that were defeated are still today under the control of their victors.
