Its just a case of a manager and artist that fell in love with each other. Just like Jada and Wizkid. Doesn’t stop the manager from doing his/her duty still.

What has really killed this generation na motivational speakers. Sincerely. People who tell you results and leave out the process.

Business men will be talking like all you need is determination and "intentionality" (the new go-to slang for motivational speakers nowadays). They conveniently miss out the part of failed loans, loads of failings and years of confusion.

Pastors with 40yr old churches will be telling you, "This week, something is coming", and you don't process it that it took them 40yrs of mistakes, learning and so, so many issues to get to the point of talking with you.

My advice?
To grow your business, go to a real business school for real expertise not attend sessions with the "refire to aspire and you will not expire" speakers.

I have a Nigerian colleague who up to 2017 at age 38, had only her SSCE.

Today, she has B.A Psychology (3yrs), Msc. Clinical Child Psychology (1yr) and would be enrolling for her Professional Doctorate in 2026 while presently working as a Neurodevelopmental Assessment Practitioner.

She gave it her 200%.

Lesson learnt, it's never too late, there's is an adage that says, the earlier the better!

Some of them have rich uncles, aunties and parents who believed in them and financed their career low-key. Some of them have friends with connections, some are fortunate to have met strangers who listen to them and took interest in their lives.

They won't mention those parts....

Don't mind her. People in their 30s will now hop on the train inspired by this not knowing she has some leverage. All those people who keep saying "I started with nothing" they leave out a lot of details. A friend lent them money, they had a family roof, one rich uncle made a call, they had a property to sell, or luck came in at one point and not everyone is lucky. We go de alright sha but not with the inspiration from others because they are adulterated.
