I didn't say me. I have too much food - I have the opposite problem, trying to lose weight.
I said the masses. People in Lagos should go into Farming? Where? How?
Are there no lands in Badagry,Epe or Ikorodu? If there is a ministry of Agriculture, then there must be fertile lands to farm. If people farm in London, it's not impossible to farm in Lagos then. I've seen how the Chinese farm rice on water. That will be easily achieved if the Lagos government wants to do that though

Maybe if you eat less then you might be able to think better. Why does good news make you sad?

Is it by force to be in Lagos and remain hungry there ? Can't anyone who's hungry go to states where farming could be done and atleast cost of foodstuffs is relatively low? Even me that I was born and bred in Lagos left the state to Ogun state in order to reduce the cost of living in Lagos. Bro, it is not by force to be somewhere when you are suffering

---Nigeria inflation rate at 22.5% is still better than some countries e.g. Turkey at 35.10%---but seriously ordinary folks are really feeling the harsh hardship---

That’s because APc has succeeded on media propaganda. Fake achievements on papers. While the masses are suffering on ground.
Also employed a lot of hungry foot soldiers online. Like heluine and freng or whatever they call their names

Which kind of reporting is this? The headline is somewhat deceiving it's put in such a way as if to say the south African media in general is praising Nigeria's economy while in actuality, it's MTN, a South African company that's doing the praising.

Even people in Washington farm. You mustn't farm at your backyard. Nigerians with pride and empty pockets.

These people are fools! Especially Nigerians on Nairaland. Just imagine — you’re making the rich even richer, and the poor even poorer! What good or benefit does that bring to the citizens? 🤔 Absolutely zero gain.
It’s like robbing Paul to pay Peter. Minimum wage is ₦70,000, yet a bag of rice costs between ₦69,000 and ₦130,000. Then there’s rent, fuel, transportation, water, good roads — these are the things that make an economy truly work and benefit its citizens. But instead, they focus on enriching the rich while making the poor look even more foolish, stranded in the middle of the ocean.. one thing I know this is not are all others great countries started. Your citizens are your priority not subject them to more poverty and beating your chest you are helping the economy.

MoneyMan5:
You can see in the way MTN Nigeria have money to dole out to the super falcons, they cashed out big and generated over 1.5 billion dollars in revenue in just a single quarter.

This quarter most major companies in Nigeria are declaring record revenue and companies that declared losses when the reform Kickstarted, the companies that ran away from Nigeria would be regretting now.

What actually stunted Nigeria development was the inability of the government to maintain good policies for long, there's a saying in the Bible that says a man shall not live by bread alone, because of bread some Nigerians are gathering to usher in visionless, thieves and terrorists to send us backward. If Nigeria can maintain this economic reform it is only a matter of time before we become the top investment destination in Africa and I predict Nigeria GDP to be growing over 5% per year, it is already 3.8 this year.
Yes... Grease my elbow, you grease mine. They started making crazy money after somehow getting the Federal Govt to increase Telecoms tarrifs.

The loser? The Nigerian people who have to pay more.

The winner? South African people who received the record profits MTN is repatriation back home.

The biggest loser? The poor pro govt bots collecting 20k to defend and paint this as a win.

No, because they are waiting for you to go into agriculture like your mates, and grow more food, so it can be cheaper.
Farming is the riskiest occupation right now. Anybody can kpai or kidnap you inside the farm these days. Even your farm workers or your trusted friend or siblings, let alone Fulani kidnappers and so on. Also cows will eat everything in your farm. My mother inlaw farms in the village. We asked that when she is coming to visit us, we will pay her to bring plenty farm produce from her farm. She said herders and their cows have finished everything in the farm. This is a firsthand testimony. Same as when my mum was using her small extended land to plant, cows didn't let her see any single profit. That one is not even in the village per se. The government have to provide maximum security first. The problem isn't that people don't want to farm. The problem is insecurity and cow problems. Pls do research about this stuff.

Why is it that it’s the foreigners that are happy but Nigerians are not? Is Tinubu the president of foreigners or the president of Nigeria? Use your brain. Tinubu hiked the price of everything even the price of making calls so why won’t MTN be happy that they’re cashing out of Nigeria? Why are you celebrating the extortion and over taxation of your people as an achievement? Shame on you people!!!!!

What is South Africa doing this for when some Nigerians hate such good news?
Abeg o stop it, this will destroy bad news purveyors day. It’s like a drug, they must have a daily fix of terrible news.
They say all kind of evil things about Nigeria and then wonder why they’re treated bad outside.

It’s because foreigners are reasonable, they address issues with honesty as they come and not driven by hate.
Things are more expensive in Ghana, but you will never see Ghanaians destroy the country with their mouths because they know things are hard everywhere right now and will change with time.

More can still be achieved with another person... He is encouraging coruption, triabalism, nepotism, favoritism, waste of resources, and that is my main problem with him

You’ve never shown us where Tinubu or his son is farming or don’t they have hands to farm? Meanwhile as you’re encouraging people to farm make sure cows won’t enter their farm and destroy what the farmers planted.

they should come and grow the food on your head? Do you provide land and farming tools while the people rejected it. Always think wee before you type in social space.
Who provided the Farmlands and tools for your ancestors in the past, Government? Someone was asking if lagosians could farm but there are new estates, hotels, petrol stations being built in lagos everyday but no greenhouses or hydroponic farms yet we are waiting for Government to feed us. We go wait tire. It's just our priority and not about Government. For every 1000 new venture or businesses set up in Nigeria you will hardly found fifty mechanized farms. People preferred to invest #2B on hotels than invest #50m on farming

Toriola is not a foreigner, he’s your Yoruba brother and he’s cashing out while the people are dying of hunger. Toriola not South Africans can hype the failed and clueless govt as he likes. He’s cashing out because his brother in power is over taxing the people to death.

You think south Africans benefits more than thousands of Nigerians employed by MTN ?further more MTN Nigeria have a lot of shareholders from Nigeria not only south Africans. I think the loser is only the people that see negativity in everything.
