The Agulu container economist is still confused about the Nigerian economic reform

Why won't MTN celebratehuh Since our thoughtless leaders allowed them to continue milking Nigerians with outrageous charges of course they'll be achieving milestones at the detriment of Nigerians. NCC is just there watching while MTN robs Nigerians in broad daylight!

The topic says “South African” media and Mtn belongs to South Africa, so what is with my brother in this?
cjfavour:
Toriola is not a foreigner, he’s your Yoruba brother and he’s cashing out while the people are dying of hunger. Toriola not South Africans can hype the failed and clueless govt as he likes. He’s cashing out because his brother in power is over taxing the people to death.

No it's not. Where have you ever posted anything about the govt? I just checked your profile and it's just christian Jesus stuff that I see there. We're not in church oga.
You checked his profile to get something to cancel him but came back with nothing and had to attack his faith.
Shame on you

The citizens are their own problem. The govt didn’t tell you to get mtn, there are choices.
The people are worse than the govt.

Ghana economy is better than Nigeria economy no thanks to clueless emilokan govt and his wack economic policies. When Ghana economy was bad, ghanians protested and shouted more than Nigerians. Most of them left their country to Nigeria till Nigeria started deporting them just as they’re doing to Nigerians now so it’s not a bad thing to criticize a government that’s not doing well and it’s not a hate. Even if the people hates a govt due to it’s policies, it’s still the duty of the govt to make his people to love him. If a govt can’t get his people to love him, he’s a failure bcs he’s there for the people and it’s the people that will return him to office. He shouldn’t believe on his ability to buy the soul of the people with money. Govt should care about his people first.
wowcatty:
It’s because foreigners are reasonable, they address issues with honesty as they come and not driven by hate.
Things are more expensive in Ghana, but you will never see Ghanaians destroy the country with their mouths because they know things are hard everywhere right now and will change with time.

Go and read the article again. You’ll see it’s Toriola that’s saying that. No mention of any other foreigner’s name but Toriola MTN Nigeria ceo. He’s happy he’s cashing out due to his brother’s clueless policies. He made a lot of profits just within 6 months bcs his brother in power kept quiet as he hiked call tariff and data prices and he milked Nigerians a lot. That’s why he’s hailing his brother’s govt.

It's not even reasonable to always claim they are hungry as though the fg govt is directly responsible for their private domestic needs. Whether people want it or not current policies are in the interest of country
Kushites:
No, because they are waiting for you to go into agriculture like your mates, and grow more food, so it can be cheaper.

Again the topic says “South African media” and mtn belongs to South Africa.
If president Tinubu is not writing mtn checks, then the economy must be doing well for them to post that much profits. The last time I checked, mtn is not in tomatoes and fish business that you can say it’s because people have to eat, and there are other companies including a local one that people can use but went for mtn. Again, the economy must be really good for mtn to make profit even after they increase the cost of their service. Being brothers won’t balance the budget, but everyone loves a booming economy. Of course, people whose fathers couldn’t afford a bicycle when it was N10 will have a problem with a good economy, because they need a bad economy as an excuse for why they can’t get anything done in their lives.

True Nigerians will applaud this sooting news. But online bitter leaf warlords and coalition bandits will still be shouting hunger. Even with their treasury looted pot belly and Richard Mille watches.

This is why other African countries don’t want them in their countries. They wonder how people can be this hateful towards their own countries and don’t want them to bring the chaos to their land.

When people can afford to still spend so much money on overpriced service, it means the economy is doing great. Mtn is not the only service provider, some are even cheaper, but people are still paying more money for it

They’ve been using speculation and words of mouth to destroy Nigeria’s economy, but because we have a great commander in chief who is tried and tested, Nigeria is standing. Things are so cheap in Nigeria more than all the neighboring countries. I found out recently that $100 = N150k can buy a medium sheep in Nigeria, but you need $300 = Ghc 3,000 to get the same size in Ghana. The cheapest indomie is also around Ghc 250 = $25 which can get about 3 in Nigeria. It’s like the costs are 3 times more expensive in Ghana than Nigeria, but you will never see Ghanaians insulting their president and make their countries look like a hellhole.

Yes we are all aware and hungry too, but there are prices from reforms and good policies. But if little explanation is not good with you, then you can make use of the Oba advise and travel down to Lagos to use the lagoon grin grin grin

Which Agriculture, is it the one that might end up getting kidnapped by bandits on the farm, or the farming communities that Gulani herdsmen have been killing with reckless abandon?

they should come and grow the food on your head? Do you provide land and farming tools while the people rejected it. Always think wee before you type in social space.
Your type are always looking for one excuse or another, if you are ready to farm get the tools where other serious farmers get theirs.
