The Nigerian Police called a press conference to show the world that activist, Omoyele Sowore, is being looked after in detention, backfired spectacularly. Sowore, who was sporting a bandaged arm, told the press that he had been expecting this charade since yesterday. He claimed that he was attacked in detention yesterday by the police, and his hand was broken. He also said that when he requested for a Doctor to treat his hand, they called a Nurse to come and bandage it instead

He also said that was arrested for no known reason, and the IGP, Egbetokun, remains illegal. The Nigerian Police hurriedly ended the press conference
