Apology Video: King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, AKA K1 De Ultimate, Is 1000 times the man that Peter Obi is!

I condemn King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, AKA K1 De Ultimate's actions at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, where he had a run-in with ValueJet, and I support the sanctions the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority placed on him.

Having said that, I must also commend King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall's act of accountability in taking responsibility for his actions and apologising to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the nation within 48 hours of the incident.

To err is weakness, and to continue in your error is wickedness. K1 De Ultimate showed that he, like all humans, is weak. However, he demonstrated that though he may be weak, he is not wicked.

Therefore, I urge that, within the ambit of the law, justice should be tempered on him with mercy.

I compare his behaviour to that of the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the #NigerianElections2023, Mr. Peter Obi, who was caught red-handed in a leaked audio threatening to unleash "Religious War" on the Muslim Ummah.

To date, Mr. Peter Obi has neither admitted what we all know, that he is the one on that leaked 'Yes Daddy' tape, nor apologised to the nation and specifically to the Muslim Ummah.

A man, like Peter Obi, who cannot admit his error when he is not in power, will definitely commit terror when in power!

It takes courage to do what K1 De Ultimate did—courage that Peter Obi obviously does not have. That is why I salute King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall and continue to respect him.

Well, I am not a fan of Reno but please stick to the substance of his assertions. Has Obi apologized for, or owned up to the issues raised by Reno? Compare the implications of that infamous religious phone conversations with the action of K1 at the airport , which one constituted more national risk?

If not for politics, naivety and unbridled tribalism inherent in many Nigerians who easily and cheaply deceive themselves and others by placing unmerited eulogy on questionable characters , in what way is Obi greater than K1? Is it because he was a former governor or banker?
K1 indeed erred with his behavour on the tarmac but he's human after all.
However, K1 has paid his dues and carved a niche for himself as an iconic musician whose genre is loved throughout the country. He is as successful as Obi in his chosen carrier. Obi without been disrespectful, is just a politician albeit respected by many but you guys should stop elevating him beyond who he truly is.
